Hey Chris - I am still here matey! - made a huge mistake pitching a buy order to add too low and I am now paying for it - took 20pct of my stake off the table in the 90's but should have added a few weeks back, never mind - I am in this for the long term and resumption of dividends - going north long term imo so a no brainer hold for me

I don't see it that way Chitling, Blackrock have already reduced and will continue to reduce as and when the MKS share price falls - they have a few macro factors on their side - inflation, a toppy us market etc etc which will create falls in the market- imo they will wait for this to play out as MKS not issuing their next update till Nov - when they sell they effectively go long so they are basically calling the bottom for the MKS share to profit from its rise going forward -

As I have said before, MKS will be walked down in price until Blackrock sell out - that is the trigger to buy - I have funds waiting and will add as I believe MKS will capitalise long term with Ocado and more footfall in the high street - a master stroke by MKS was placing its dresses next to Hobbs, Sotander etc which are all more expensive - it compares quality like for like - I think this will prove successful going forward as people start to realise the quality and syle of MKS clothing - In June the Telegraph clothes editor bought ALL her summer wardrobe from Marks and advocated people do the same - gla dyor etc

Good news Boo - at to that a beat on retail sales figures this morning and it should hopefully be a good day for MKS - let's see

Looking at the below estimates which are a massive beat on revenue, I will be shocked if this doesn't go north - lets see - gla

Vodafone Q1 Earnings:
Revenue: EUR11.10B (est EUR10.67B)
Organic Service Revenue: +3.3% (est +1.91%)
Still Sees FY Adj. EBITDA At EUR15.0B To EUR15.4B

Had a buy order at 63p to add to my holding so slightly gutted that it didn't get filled - seen this scenario played out so many times where the pi's get shafted as the share is walked down, only for the big institutions to fill their boots when the price gets into crazy oversold territory - clear institutional buying again on the dips this morning which augers well for SGC going forward

The share is now only a penny above what it was on the 1st Feb when the country was in a mess - implying that the share is in a worse state now than it was then is just nonsense - I have a large holding here accumulated from the mid 70's but sold around 20pct of that at 95p - I will add to my holding if this falls much further - gla and dyor etc

Blackrock - still holding their short - my take on this is that they are relying on macro economic news to push MKS down along with other UK stocks - reduction in US quant easing, inflation fears etc etc, it is playing out right now - whatever happens in America effects UK stocks until they get to a point where the stocks are CLEARLY oversold - then the big institutions move in - fears of a third/fourth wave of the virus are also adding to the negative sentiment - Blackrock playing the long game - I think MKS are a fantastic share and will come back big long term, but as I have said before when Blackrock sell to effectively go long that is the time to buy and not before imo.

With the current climate favouring undervalued brit stocks and Morrisons having just received a bid at a 30pct premium why not SGC - easy for institutions to accumulate as holders are happy to sell .......just a thought.

I would be very surprised if MKS didn't move North big today in light of the Morrisons bid - a big move may prompt Blackrock to call it a day on their shorts - let's see what plays out today - gla and dyor

As I keep saying on here - bottom is when Blackrock sell their shorts and go long - I am monitoring daily and will buy on that signal not before
