Tin hat time right now with UK stocks - shares just being walked down to previous lows regardless of what sector they are in which is irrational imv - Even BP struggling to stay blue with oil over the 80 handle - just wait it out imho - RR. will go much higher down the pipe as countries all over the world stock up on their defensive capabilities - RR will be a part of that, a big part - gla dyor etc.

Decided to buy back a few of the ones I sold at 212p - for 207.6p - tin hat time in the market right now !! - always presents opportunities though - gla dyor etc.

Hi John, you make some good points matey - I think you are correct re the younger generation not drinking as much however I see a lot of young people in JDW pubs drinking soft drinks and eating - the real mark up is food not beverage - young people still like to have a good time and socialise and eat cheaply and at the end of the day that is facilitated by spoons - the hotel side is a winner and I think news will spread word of mouth as it did with the spoons pubs - expansion looks on the cards in Spain - I like you am waiting to go back in - I see the pub sector as defensive in light of what happened at the weekend, and around 30pct of my stocks are defensive (BP, Centrica RR. etc) to offset losses in the Airline related stocks I have - I am looking to re enter here but as you say it would look better with a 6 in front - gl dyor etc.

Yes I found that rather disturbing Rivaldo - on the back of the fall I bought two more tranches this morning at 57p and 56p - defence spending worldwide will go through the roof after this weekend - and MTI doing rather well in drone antennas - as me old dad used to say "never an ill wind that doesn't blow some good" - blowing hard for MTI right now - gla dyor etc.

I added a few more at 191p this morning - I am well hedged against airline and airline related stock falls with a large holding in BP and also Centrica and other defence stocks (RR and Melrose) - so a good time to top up for me here and take advantage of the dips - gla dyor etc.

I sold half my holding here a while back at 625p - bought a few of them back at 598p and 578p - next stop on the graph is at 550p - not saying it will reach that but I will be adding on any further drops - sp now oversold on my calculations regardless of forward projection - Gorton by election result not helping UK stocks today either - won by the Green party and Labour now questioning if they should go more left wing😮ffs if we get Milliband as PM lookout - that is tin hat time my friends - gla dyor etc.
