CW -Sure Ukraine wants to join the EU along with all the others bordering Russia how long do you think that will take assuming the EU 27 all agree that is? Ukraine will have already been rebuilt when/if this scenario plays out

When a peace deal is eventually agreed the rebuild contracts for Ukraine will imo be given to the US and UK ie the only countries that have given meaningful help rather than lip service - RR will play a part in the rebuild process imo - BOJO made plenty of errors for sure but got this one right imo

Valueplay - of course shares are falling due to the economic situation deteriorating - that is a given - shorters can only affect individual shares not whole markets - the point I am trying to make is that individual shares will show value once a markdown shows value has been realised - algos are programmed to realise this and automatically buy in huge huge amounts and there is big money sitting on the sidelines atm - the key is to spot said share and act accordingly - nasdaq down around 33pct in last 6 months and the dow getting towards 20pct - markets are basically pricing in a recession and will look next towards recovery - some UK stocks are below their nav atm - that will not continue imo - you are already seeing this play out in the transport sector with PE snapping up companies -

Kroger results out - they upped guidance - two new delivery facilities powered by Ocado in Dallas and Wisconsin helping to drive profits - the results were along the same lines as MKS in terms of the Ocado input - Kroger share price falling as is everything on the Down atm - value over there and indeed here in the UK will eventually be realised when shares are marked down to show value, then everyone will pile back in - the Kroger results confirm my thinking that existing Ocado customers are expanding their roll outs with Ocado whilst other retailers sit on the sidelines peddling a non profit delivery service for the sake of keeping market share - the alternative for these retailers is to build their own delivery centres whilst trying to make sure they do not impinge on Ocado's patents - the other alternative is to use Ocado - my money is on Ocado and I am back in today at 791p

MKS falling on the back of ASOS results today, they are down more than 16pct atm - I have just added here at 132p

Markets expect fed to raise .75bp and that has been reflected over last 2 trading days - with the dow down around 15pct over the last 6 months and the nasdaq down 30pct there could be a relief rally depending on what is said in the fed meeting re future rate rises and an expected peak in rates/inflation - UK wage inflation was well well below analysts estimates yesterday which fits my theory that rates will peak here year end - markets look forward and I would not personally want to be out of the market right now - with Ocado a lot here will depend on the Kroger results tomorrow - I am looking to get back in on any weakness -

GOG now trading at 1540p - a 37.5pct rise since the takeover option - 37.5pct on NEX trading at 222p on IG just now puts it at 305p

Futures are looking up so might get a nice rise today" - Yes Nacho - and a bidding war means one or more suiters and one or more suiters being disappointed with the outcome leaving them to look for alternatives - kerching for Nex

I sold the majority of my holding here last week on concerns about short term volitility which now looks like it was the correct thing to do, having said that I think there is plenty of interest here sub 9 quid and I am looking to go back in - I think the Kroger results on Thursday will be interesting and will imv determine exactly where the bottom is here - I will be watching and waiting and acting accordingly.

I think the broker downgrades are factoring in a massive amount of sentiment against travel related stocks jtan - all have been hammered out of sight over the last week or so - I started adding to this stock after the rns and have continued to add - value will be realised one way or another as GOG holders found out this morning -

Jtan, fair value for NEX based on fundementals alone is around 270p - 20pct on top of that is 324p - I would settle for that and not a penny less

GOG up over 20pct atm which shows how ridiculous the fall in UK transport stocks has been, which is why I keep adding - NEX will be next, parden the pun

Thanks Angersharkz - I used to hold RMG a year or twoso ago and sold out for a small profit - really like this company and it fits my remit for reliable dividends going forward - the share has taken a hammering on the back of union discontent but it is overdone imo - shorts have reduced recently which is telling - I will be looking to add on further weakness
