Surely nobody is serious that the placing of £2m by UKOG is to fund the takeover of ANGS?

Meanwhile the disposal by the chairman appears to simply be the transfer to a financial institution which will lend him cash on the back of the shares as security. They will hold the shares and only sell them if he doesn’t pay it or the interest back. It also means the company isn’t in a closed period so there is no information yet to be released to the market.

All these conspiracy theories are quite ridiculous. That’s not to say it looks great that the chairman has done this.

No. An RNS is issued only when YA convert and they still have £1.75m to go. Lots fewer shares at these prices.

It is the same on all message boards where the price crashes. People play the man and not the ball. Recriminations or gloaters. We all have an agenda and where other posters say the same as we feel about our share we form a group and comfort ourselves we have taken the right view and disagree with anyone who dares to differ- groupthink. It’s rather like that Pru advert getting the strength of insurance around you, with a castle repelling boarders. It gets personal and unpleasant.
Remaining objective is tough at times. I took the decision to buy here and bailed after the last news. I blame only myself and not some bloke who appears knowledgable on a message board.

I reckon at least 100m places sales were recorded in the last half hour though these were probably an amalgam of sales during the day. I vaguely recall other large trades earlier in the day too but I can’t access that information. Whether any could have been sold yesterday I will leave to Ocelot. With any luck the overhang will dry up quickly if volumes keep up like this especially if there is any positive news.

The bottom line is that local councillors are laymen and answer to their electorates and local party machines and couldn�t give a hoot about national policy unless they have no choice. They will argue over the trivia if it is a way of stopping something they dont like. If the aplication has been delayed then it should be possible to ask why.

My guess is that there are sellers from the placing a couple of weeks ago and the buyers are picking up those shares. If i am right there will be an after hours sale logged which will be the sum of the managed sales through the day.

Puta the next meeting date is on 22 May per the council�s website, not 12 May unless there was some other decision date fixed. Can anyone shed light on what the council discussed and what�s going on?
