I don't think it reasonable to say people are doomsters and looking to get in lower. Most are well under water and unhappy that we are suffering from a constant drip by YA and a lack of any feel for progress. I suspect many are simply wanting to get out at a price they can live with. Personally I am hanging around at least until the next operational update which can't be far away now.

There is no provision per the 7 August RNS for the monies to be repaid in cash and anyway UKOG need it. The only positive is it reduces the outstanding balance. The negative is the overhang continues.

Ocelot. The words you used are spot on, SS has options which give ‘the right to invest’. That is far from being invested and he has not exercised that right. As of today he has not spent a penny on shares in UKOG. He only has upside, with the downside risk being that he won’t make as much profit if the price drops. He can’t lose but he might do well.

LSE I would like to agree except the RNS said ‘up to 60’ which could be anywhere from zero to 60% on average. Best not to be overly optimistic yet.

Be grateful we don't have Tidswell- Pretorious anywhere near our ops. We are making progress, apparently. Exactly what progress and timelines, who knows. An RNS to shore up the share price would be good.

Look at the prices across the day and you might decide they are managed sells. I hope so as it will shift the overhang quicker. On the positive front, if they are sells we should be encouraged that they were absorbed without too much damage to the share price.

There are several messages in the RNS. One is UKOG’s Nominated adviser is asleep at the wheel -even the basic of whether the issuer is uk or non uk is a muddle. The issuer is UKOG which last I saw is a UK issue, not Tellurian. Secondly it doesn’t make it clear what the current position is, which is, when you think of it the purpose of the exercise, third there is at least one spelling mistake ‘allotement’ finally and maybe most important is does help explain why the price has struggled with the overhang being cleared.

DO you are quite right about the increased share of the field. The difficulty at present is that the additional share is not a lot of barrels. The next RNS showing BOPD excluding water could well be the key to where we go from here. We are also suffering from the overhang from Tellurian and YA, and the fact that SS can't bring himself to buy any shares. I know it is something of a broken record but if he won't align his interests with shareholders why should anyone else buy or hold?

The 0.89 trade was a UT of the amazing sum of around £160. However like most on here I am sitting with everything crossed hoping for decent news ASAP and wish they would get on with it!

Vernony. You say that 3m shares change hands on a good day. The 3 month daily average is around 44m so where you get your information is a mystery.

Hi guys this is an interesting topic. I advise anyone thing about how unequal we are to look at a report called Elitest Britain by the Sutton Trust which came out earlier this year. It isn't a left wing rag but a proper study. I noticed it because I was looking at cricket information and it popped into my purview for some reason. However, as an example, 43% of England cricket internationals went to Independent schools, yet only 7% of kids go to such schools. It's worth a look. I feel as a society it is in everyone's interest to make sure everyone gets a fair crack of the whip.

I doubt Corbyn is interested in the impact of taxes on the likes of BP or Shell on pension schemes. Any taxes will impact on them but the average bod won't see he or she is affected directly. Gordon Brown started the slide in defined benefit schemes when he took away ACT. Not many outside the City noticed but it did mean the cost of defined benefit schemes became too much and companies moved the risk to the scheme members by switching them all to contribution schemes. So in a nutshell they have "form". I am with Kempey on the overarching issues, and for what it is worth I am a Lib Dem.

I suggest you do any or all of the following

1) Expect more dilution ( as warned in previous RNS announcements) so that at least you are prepared
2) As the former Commons Speaker oft said ' Take a soothing medicament, calm yourself'
3) Consider changing your nickname if things are that bad,
4) Hope that in due course things will pick up, yes including in another couple of weeks and
5) If you do sell and decent news comes in, as many of us hope it will, don't get your blood pressure up with more anger at what might have been.

The total value will indeed be higher but the value per share would, all other things being equal, change to be closer to the placing price as there are more shares in issue.

I don’t think DOD claims to be unbiased, which it clearly is not, but does say it is independent, which is rather different. Quite where, or if, she makes any money with the blog is an interesting question.
