Hats off to SS and the team for their performance to date and for the PR in keeping shareholders up to date so well. It is good to be able to know the facts rather than have to speculate.

A company will buy back when it has revenues...not merely when it issues shares for assets. If and when we have a few years positive cash flow, then possibly. We need the current revenues to keep the lights in and pay SS, not to mention the cost of drilling.

You have to apply for a listing to the main market. AIM shares are technically unlisted.

Presumably wedding venues generate a lot of traffic. This could be compared with the minimal amount for the UKOG site which won’t make much difference.

You say it is not all about the share price. From a shareholder perspective I beg to differ.
It would make a statement if SS were to spend some of his own money and buy a few million. If he does, then I will consider adding to my holding. Till then, we sit and wait.

In an unstable financial climate LGEN is as good as it gets for sound management. It has been the core of my portfolio for years and am happy with that.

A company has to provide an RNS each month end if during the month the number of shares in issue has changed. Anything else is purely co-incidental.

While I understand your call for patience, Baz’s frustration is equally understandable. The light at the end of the tunnel has been visible for a long time but seems to get no brighter.

I agree with Stocktaker. This is a frustrating share due to the lack of updates but people do need to read carefully what the last RNS actually said "At this point in time we expect drilling to start in summer (Q3) of this calendar year." Note the"at this point in time". This does imply that drilling might well be towards the end of the quarter because of the caveat that it could slip. We are waiting OGA approval as well as the rig.

Given where we are in the meanwhile it should be no problem for the CEO to spend some of his money, as we have spent ours, to buy some shares to give a boost to confidence. He cannot forever argue that he is in a closed period. He ought to have bought on publication of the half year results since at that time everything should have been announced.

You are being unfair on him. I know he is a rude character and wouldn't know how to spell if it hit him in the face but at least he seems to be keeping an eye on the site which is much more than anyone else does. At the end of the day, that is what interests me and I ignore the snide and unpleasant remarks.

I agree with Dave too. I suspect it was a managed sale looking at the volumes of buys above that price during the day.

The constant positivity you mention is only a few people on a message board. What matters is an RNS with positive news.
