I like your thinking that the share price is nearer the bottom than the top. Given the top was around 10p and the price is currently 0.3p it would be difficult to dispute the logic.

LTH your point about getting the best people is entirely reasonable. However from a shareholder perspective the value of the shares has crashed, the company makes losses yet that seems to be worth a bonus of more than twice the CEO’s base pay? The only people taking any risk are the shareholders, not the directors. The only positive I can see is that HMRC will nobble 45% of his bonus and quite a slice of his base.

As of tomorrow UKOG directors will be back in ‘open season’ and they will be able to buy shares. No more excuses. There is nothing secretive and not reported going on so SS and the others can align themselves with shareholders. This will tell you all you need to know.

On the assumption you only invest what you are prepared to lose you could put it anywhere in the equity market!

There is an accounting principle whereby options are valued based on such as unexpired periods-Black-Scholes rings a bell. Sorry but I am not wizard on such matters. The last batch were granted at 1.13p I think and looking at where we are now I doubt those or any granted previously are worth a great deal to SS at least but they might have an accounting valuation. .

Bridgedogg's post about personal attacks is so true. It doesn't matter what the forum is, whether UKOG, politics, TV or football people are behind screens and are increasingly aggressive and offensive. A sad reflection on society - I never thought I would say it- that people resort to such abusive chatter. Frankly it's not worth posting and is increasingly a switch off. The lack of tolerance of other opinions is really quite shocking at times. That no-platforming of the former Home Secretary last night by Oxford Uni, supposedly a bastion of free speech and ideas among the educated elite, says how far we have fallen. It can't help that Brent Oil is down over 8% today and at under $46 is down over $20 in the last year.

The impact of the lower oil price will have to be factored in at some point.

The possible acquisitions of Dor and Alba interests have to be a risk in terms of dilution. Then we have IOW on the horizon which will need a bucket load of funding. We know about the possible additional YA funding, which might relate to both those but that's dependent on the performance of HH.

You ask which posts would have been helpful for potential posters. Frankly you take everyone’s and get a general feel and anyone sensible will read the RNSs and look at research elsewhere and the share price graph, not necessarily in that order.

It would be helpful if the Nomad or someone sensible bothered to proofread the RNSs sent out by Angs. As the next planning committee seems to be on 24 March there is no way the application will be considered before then.

I am afraid you are using the wrong price. The £300k is divided by the Nominal price per share not the market price to arrive at the potential number of shares which can be issued.

There are lots of revised plans being made, shut in, OGA discussions and sourcing kit from outside the UK. In addition YA will receive bucket loads more shares to offload. Re-defining income is akin to shifting the deckchairs on the Titanic.

Understood. The question now is when are we going to make progress on the horizontal as it seems we are still in shut in. Once more tankers leave the site than the regular one a day that will give an indication, but it would be best if we had an RNS to lay out timescales. At the very least it could calm nerves.

Thanks but how do you know about the burn out? Any idea what this means along with the suggestion that the shut in is continuing?
Given the last ops update was 23 December I would have thought an RNS update should be any day now.
