EV - as I said earlier i think a lot of people would have sold today if it had been a great strike or as it turned out - non commecial. it is a time to have cash over shares for a lot of people. if boris wins i think market sentiment will improve.

the rns was bad and good. the well results were bad - but the update on production was very good.
I would have taken that way round any day. i had not put much value on warwick to be honest especially after the first drill result.

boris in and an update that lancaster will produce a lot of oil for a long time and this share will rerate in december in my opinion.

i can understand people selling at a loss today. a portfolio can go down 20% in a matter of minutes. however it seems to take a long time to recover. personally sitting on a £23k personal loss today. but look at the p/e ratio.....if someone had offered me hur shares at this price yesterday i would have grabbed them - they have a lot of oil out there

well well - i suspect some of the buys are to do with a) going into the xmas season and b) general election.

Oviously i had hoped/expected better drill results and would have probably halved my exposure with any rise today - just to be in cash

however lancaster has not changed - confirmation everything is well is actually a good update - so i will not sell at a loss. in fact i added £10 and was even tempted by more

for me the interesting thing is that they sound that they are ahead with their data gathering and are going to update in december. since we were originally told that it would take 6-12 months production data it could very possibly be that all systems are go - and that could be the catalyst for a rerate

yes they get a nod for turning up. mind you after the way they have let this week go it was the least they could do. lets be honest it should have been done on monday or tuesday at the very latest.

Maj looks like he always does as if someone run over his cat. the other fellow did look a bit like he had been taken to the cleaners..mind you quite a lot of us have this week. maybe next time keep a tighter ship.

if it had been RNS as a duster straight off it would have dropped from 39p to 20p in my opinion. it is the way the news has come out and been handled that have halved it again in my opinion. if any cmpany wants a lesson on how not to release news this would pretty much be it.

They must take responsibility for the leakiness..it looked like it happened on serenity too. on monday the length of time it took to confirm initial results was scandalous - should have happened mid morning. leaving it to the end of trading was not good. it also left more questions than answers. and so they then got punished a second day. then today a vague RNS and they got punished again.

this interview was too little too late - should have been done on monday. and i agree clearer details on cash position / debt . stop going on about how everything confirmed your geology model. if it did you were clearly drilling in the wrong places. and your model and results confirmed it

looking back the fact that they didnt invest in the second lot of data earlier - ie before starting to drill anything . should have been a warning

i hope there is truth in their optimism going forward and people can recover their losses.

keeps harking on that their geology model is correct - so why do they keep drilling in SH*TE places.

also I am not sure the SP reflects the successful program MAaj claims it to be..

really strange interview in my opinion. I wish the interviewr had asked if they had any comment on such dramatic price movements prior to every news release

as an impartial observer - I haven't been too involved in this board. I agree you can't trust anyone on these boards as you do not know what agenda a person may have.

BBN's posts have seemed coherent and fair to me. The goal posts have changed a lot this week and he has re-evaluated and decided to cut his losses. I did the same having got in at 17p the last time round. At that time I felt there was a very good chance the SP would recover. I made a lovely paper profit which was wiped out by monday's shennagins..lesson learnt.

He has updated his view and position which is fair enough - and stated if circumstances change he will reconsider re- entry. I won't because of the leaks and board lack of reaction. AIM is tough enough without an extra layer of possible disadvantage.

I suspect BBN's departure has been another kick in the balls in terms of sentiment. However it won't affect the future of the share one way or the other. There will either be a good RNS which means paper losses will be recovered - too late for those who sold out or a bad RNS which could affect funding and the long term future of the company.

I wish anyone in all the best. I took a loss - something you have to be prepared to do - to save some of my capital. I can understand those who stayed in as the jury is still out

The blame lies with the leak.. Enabling some to get out early. Then the manipulation of a rumor and finally the reluctant response from the company.

Twitter and boards were obviously hot on the day. But it is yesterday's news until full results come in.

i am wondering if some people load up towards end of the day in case it RNS drops the next day and then sell in the morning when it hasn't. I suspect a blue end of day too. it is gonna drop one day and it could be tomorrow .

Have to agree with Renoc

its a binary choice duster and this will be 10p , good news and 40p. The problem with the financing is that the 10p may not get a chance to recover and lose the lot if it is good news then it will open high and drop and you can always get back in.

totally agree. for me it was the way the company behaved - that RNS should have come a lot earlier.

the risk for me is in the funded needed relying on a good result. personally not willing to take risk .

gary - i am fully aware of your position as i follow your articles and twitter.

There is nothing wrong with giving your opinion.though I do think you can lay it on a bit thick at particularly bad times and then seem to object to the fact people get upset. i agree it is part and parcel. personally i had thought the company had learnt their lessons with the first drill.

major - that was the problem releasing it so late . after a manic day people were trying to read and react before the bell. I had an offer to sell at a better price but couldn't make up my mind in time.

people had time to digest the news and form an opinion. i don't know which way the share will go in the future but i did guess how the market would react.

Gary - I have followed you over the years and I definitely think your views have merit. The only thing I object to is that you seem to come across as wanting to be seen as altruistic in saving people money etc but the reality is that you always seem lay into a company when it has had a bad scenario. people have lost a lot of money....maybe now is not the time to try to nail the coffin shut. I would suggest you need to consider those people who are currently shareholders . a damning article right now could worsen their position. Maybe timing is something to consider?

I remember being in a very low key share which we had opposing views a good few years back. you were all doom and gloom wheras i was saying there was a possible positive outcome. the price got hammered and a lot of people were scared into selling....a month later good news came and if they had held they wouldnt have lost anything.

as far as this share goes i have sold out this morning - I am glad i managed it before your article as i probably saved myself a few quid.

oph - the leak would have been that they were at TD....and the findings so far.

the possible manipulation is a diffferent thing. i suspect someone might have got out - when it first dropped 6-10%. as it stayed there for a while. then the fun happened and it dropped like a stone.

the company really needs to look at itself

some of us have been waiting for years - expected it. what I had hoped for was a slight re rate at key pints that have been met. first oil, continued off loads and new strike.

The market is what it is...and will catch up. however many people are getting really peed off with AIM as there seems only stick and no carrot lately. eco yesterday being an example. masses of heavy oil seemsto be the same as having a duster....incredible

bloobird - i think we would all be happy with the price reflecting the real value. but the reality is that it doesn't ...it is sentiment driven. can you really say that the SP values the company correctly. we easily lose 20% on WD but yet never seem to get a decent rise sustained on good news.

A lot of factors have resulted in sp depression in the last few years such as shorting, sell on news . macro economics etc etc..so in fairness I do not see why an sp boost on a rumour is such a bad thing. we are here to make money or at least not continually see our portfolio hammered if you are a LTH.

wellwell- my understanding was that there was a discovery at WD but tests did not prove commerciality.

the last RNS indicates that again they have made a discovery - which is going to be tested. after tests we will know if commercial and quantities etc.

when he was forced to release the RNS on the previous flare - it was very downbeat in my opinion. they had a discovery and could have rolled with that - with details of flow rates to be confirmed. this killed the SP and then the subsequent RNS did not light the world. in my opinion momentum had been lost. people were caught betwixt and between.

Unfortunately there is a danger of a repeat. they clearly have a discovery -otherwise nothing to test.

long term it will come good...we are producing lots of oil and more to come. trice doesnt seem to mind the SP being hit uneccessarily through bad rumours but dread the opposite should happen... he does not seem to care about suffering LTH and how ever now and again a bit of light at the end of the tunnel is welcome...even if inevitably it gets dragged down again on the AIM mechanism

Tin drum... I have never seen any evidence that hur care what the sp is... There have Ben enough times when I am sure they could have released an rns to support the fall g knife of sp and have never shown any interest.... Their rns on the photos of the last flare I think really affected the sp in a negative way
