i think if we don't have an RNS drop with the gov deal sorted then we really need an update from clueless colin on what they are manufacturing and quantities
we keep being told they are busy - but with what ?

anthony - the SP is half what it was pre contract award - and you are worrying about posters who unhappy being trolls? can you not accept that this has turned out to be a s**t show?

mip - i seem to remember a lot of them being agency staff? a company pays more than the going rate but can lay them off easily and quickly. I can't see how they can be using a full work force when they dont have gov tested sorted yet? they probably thought they would need them back in april - and the big launch etc - and sorted them out. would be worrying if we are paying them and not producing at anywhere near full capacity

i always work on the assumption that if someone has to tell you they are busy - then you would not assume that from the evidence.
if they are not using the gov machinery for the gov test - as still not finalised. then what exactly are they busy doing?...clearly not selling any other products from the last update. it is hard to see how they can be busy talking to other companies? week after week

simon - there clearly is an issue with the sales team. better they try twitter and every possible avenue. but i agree it is not a good look.

oke - would be great as i figure we would get more revenue per test. fingers crossed

oke - no guarantee that the DHSC will want to use that test even when CE for home use.

maybe colin "cant sell a test" is hoping it will come through and that is why talks are stalling/dragging on? but that is a dangerous game. if the gov need tests quickly they will just use somebody else

DHSC already introduced odx to companies they are willing/wanting to use. Not sure they are waiting on anything other than these talks being concluded.

agreed simon - at this point odx is just a traders share....rise with a bit FOMO...and then drops when nothing happens....
i was tempted to sell at high 50's.. but thought surely must be soon?

been two weeks since colin "can't sell a test" returned from holiday. busy busy busy was the tweet.
assuming that once test has been agreed we get an RNS - guess colin is still talking his way out of a deal

ODX looked to have a blinding covid portfolio when i first got in. having both antigen and antibody tests - covered all bases.
unfortunately they are reliant on the ceo and his "team" to sell. they don't seem to hold him accountable for his (in)actions.

i have explained why i am still in. I did my due diligence and ODX should be a slam dunk. i have waited many many months so it would be stupid to get out now when theoretically an RNS could drop any day. i still think that in a pandemic with a gov contract we will get over the line - despite colin "can't sell a test in a pandemic"

office - yes i am a holder unfortunately. I have recently averaged down from 100.000 shares to approx 150,000 as I want to get out earlier than originally planned. I no longer have any faith in this company - if they can't sell a test in a pandemic then I don't rate their chances with any of their other portfolio of products. i only stay in because i know the moment i sell a super RNS will drop!..lol. I am lucky that i don't need the money at the moment so can afford to wait it out.

i got in initially before the award was issued as it looked like they would get it and it would be a slam dunk. i increased when contract was awarded. tbh it has been a disaster and can't believe I am running at a loss. lesson learnt - research CEO more in future

the issue for the market is that it is not a done deal. unfortunately Colin's RNS on the gov award was so negative that it questioned the whole thing rather than accepting and re-rating.
this was particularly damaging on a mechanism like AIM which is very news/sentiment driven. although it is very sad to say that with it we can't say we were not warned on his inability to secure the max award possible.

the sp should have recovered with news of manufacturing starting however 4 months later and colin "can';t sell a test in a pandemic" still has not got us over the line. either we are yet another day along the waiting game or else calamity is blowing the whole thing - it is hard to know with the waffle covered with jam

presumably it is over money? basically the revenue odx will get per test?

whilst we all want the best possible deal for ODX - there comes a point where they don't want to lose out to someone else - whether it be more chinese pony or another uk company. Since odx can't seem to sell anything else anywhere else - i vote they take what is offered and lets go!

once they become a recognised uk gov provider then even their sales team should be able to use that to sell themselves?

mikodx - i work on the principle that no news - is not bad communication just a sign of no news to tell. They have a twitter account to use when they want - but the message is always the same talk/wait for approval etc

my question would be how competent are the sales team? - overseen by colin "cant sell a test in a pandemic". I am sure the covid excuse will be used for lack of sales....which i suppose logically should mean that it would be easy to sell covid tests in a pandemic. apparently not

we need that gov contract asap. it will not only start bringing that £374m in but also put odx on the map - hopefully even generate sales of other products etc.

only colin "cant sell a test" would be given a contract and a list of companies to talk to by the gov - and claim to be optimistic. lets be honest it should be a dead on nailed cert.
