trader - i agree. the market at the moment limits the rises. i think ncyt will possibly run out of steam and then drift until more news - sold some yesterday and today. long term looks good for ncyt - i still have some left but there is no rush to get back in heavily at the moment

i think odx is due a rise to 50p - then hopefully a big spike if news drops

i think the issue is that it is a tin pot outfit who are in the right place at the right time. colin "cant sell as test in a pandemic" seems out of his depth to me. i don't see him as dishonest just not up to the job of transforming a small company into something bigger. he continues to work with wally brook who is just a glorified wide boy and certainly not capable of showing off odx professionally, it is either crass tweets or radio silence.

i would really question the sales team at odx - what exactly are they doing? we were supposed to have a big launch at beginning of may? anyone seen anything?
having listened to NCYT yesterday - they seem a much more professional outfit and decent sales team

FWIW I think odx will come good on the gov contract. september will have schools/colleges/unis back and we are getting into the more transmissible season. however as a long term prospect? not unless there are some serious upgrades in sales/comm teams
i have been averaging down £28.5k in the last two weeks....so i can get out quicker.

Gman...tganks but the prob was HL was not recognising the £21k I had just sold of ncyt. It wasn't the amount was too big.. it kept saying I didn't have enough funds!!!

What are these "establishments"?

I suspect there are individuals on here that think they can "sway" the market..I am not really sure on that. Possibly some in telegram type groups could get together and coordinate so that they all buy and sell at the same time to take advantage of the effect...however then they would have to trust each other !?!?!?!

Every share I have ever been in has rampers and derampers...and it happens at all prices..so I am not sure buy when they deramp is good advice ?

I think we are cheap at the moment....as I am hoping gov news imminent.....I almost bought £21k today to average down but HL had glitches and it got to 4.25 and I chickened out...so prob RNS tmrw !!!!!lol

I agree that the use of lft will bloom for other kinds of diseases etc. If odx can cash in on covid then they could really increase their portfolio for post covid.

Lft for flu? What is the point ? Some people are happy to take time off when they catch it...others seem happy to want to go into work or college etc and don't care about spreading it. I am not sure that is going to change.

i suspect on AIM which is very often news driven this volatility makes sense.

hopefully colin "cant sell a test in a pandemic " has had some time for reflection and will come back with some increased appetite to produce and sell.

my theory on the drop was that it was a mixture of colin "cant sell a test in a pandemic" being away and the knock on from ABDX awful RNS - i suspect some sold believing no news until tuesday and that the market was going to hammer odx on any covid bad news - even though are exposure is not significant.

i suspect by tuesday we will be back to 50p ish - which seems to be the base on no news - either way

hopefully august will be the month that the gov contract gets into gear - the new april as it were. colin needs to finalise the talks/deal with third person companies. the longer he takes the more chance of something going wrong.

i can believe that odx didnt make a significant number of the ABXD tests and so exposure is limited. the real question is despite being told they are "busy" what the h*ll are they doing on a daily basis?

whether or not computer has an agenda - i will leave for others to decide.
what interests me is the content of his messages - and quite frankly to me they always seem worth listening to.

odx was a pennies company before covid. the portfolio previously has not generated any worthwhile income - and if they cant sell a test in a pandemic then serious questions have to be asked on their ability to market a product even if it is good. they have had a once in a lifetime opportunity to earn cash and put themselves on the map with covid.cash generated could be used to develop the portfolio and hey they may even enjoy the experience of selling something.

the market is spooked because of calamity and wally brook's incompetence. the gov are showing themselves to be unreliable in terms of actually using british and then paying for it. seems the cash would rather be spent on chinese rubbish.

whilst on the subject of china..i really cant see how colin can expect to sell stuff there. odx will make and sell some and my guess is other chinese companies will grab them and quickly copy them and start selling them much cheaper.

calamity colin "can't sell a test in a pandemic" is greatly responsible for the crash from £1 to 50p where it seemed stuck. He could/would not do anything about that so doubt he can rescue this dip - other than get some sales and release as an rns without any negativity.

we have been hit by the abdx issues - that is the way the market works and why odx should never have been negative in their PR or RNS. you get gains to balance the awful crash on macroeconomics or anything vaguely related to the company.

personally have visions of colin "cant sell a test in a pandemic" sitting on a beach playing his fiddle whilst odx sp burns

the gov is really covering itself in glory - disputes on payments with ABDX and NCYT...yet i bet all the innova invoices were paid on time!

tbh the whole system is a crock......we can put a man on the moon but can't identify a buy or sell other than a guess based on the mid point price?

MIP - odx is not just about covid - however they are not really selling much of their other products. certainly not enough to justify the current SP
The hope is that it will change in the future. if they can sell some tests in this pandemic then not only will they cash in on this hopefully once in a lifetime opportunity but it will raise their profile in regards to other products.
they need to take advantage of this pandemic and soon. As time goes by the landscape could change very quickly - new variants/ better new tests/ more competitors/ different testing environments.... it will be criminal if they miss this opportunity .

they need to conclude these "talks" that have been facilitated by the gov with other parties and get into production.

yes getting a gov contract was excellent - but what else have they done in terms of selling since then?

it would be great if the contract is just the beginning of a long term relationship with the gov. however i would not be relying on it if i was ODX.

twatcher - my suspicion is that we will see an increase in cases as the we get into autumn and traditional flu season. my fear is also that the lambda variant will stsrt to be seen more and more in uk. I have a colombian friend who lost 4 family members and they were all vaccinated.

however there is no doubt that the overall picture is more vulnerable in terms of needed tests than this time last year. there is far more competition it seems and from companies who can sell whatever the quality of their product.

i think a ODX took their eye off the ball..thinking the gov contract would be in full effect much earlier. a large proportion of their capacity was earmarked and maybe they didn't want to overstretch ? or maybe they just "can't sell"?. maybe they thought once producing for the gov that other sales would naturally roll in?

the big launch - rns in april - has gone very quiet and i have not seen any sign of it. they should have been trying to sell tests abroad or hook up with more domestic "fit to fly " type outfits.

if colin "can't sell a test in a pandemic" can't up his game with the current situation - there must be serious doubts on the ability to sell its more specific tests.
