on an individual level , i dont think public will be keen to purchase LFT other than for travel as a cheaper alternative than PCR. They would have seemed to be slow grabbing them for free and using up the innova stock. however I could see lft being part of a ticket package for events and so paying indirectly. Also schools/unis/large businesses etc will probably have to pay for them in future.

personally i think they should continue to be free - to get on top of covid and keep economy open - so i welcome the decision by boris.

hopefully this pandemic will not last long - and in any case hopefully medical intervention will improve. Odx need to make hay and grab as much of that £374m as possible to set the company up. they could improve the portfolio and hopefully with new recognition sell other products.

i am still unmoved by the USA dream - unless they get self test use.

blade - the thing is that they could have just quoted the contract as between £50m - £374m. Colin made a deliberate choice of saying we may not get anywhere near the top figure. if you give the market the opportunity to hit you hard it will. Anybody who has played the AIM game for a few years will tell you. showed a lack of knowledge/experience which is not good for a CEO. nobody was asking him to lie or even ramp..just plain facts without negativity would have done the trick

i haven't changed my opinion of colin - as of yet. my change in mood is brought about by the tweet from bethell that indicates that a) odx hasn't blown it and that we are still at the races - and b) should be crossing the finishing line soon - despite colin's ineptitude.
the decline in sp was mainly down to colin - negative rns and pathetic tweets. yes they were made to wait by the govt but the last couple of months seems to be fairly and squarely down to odx not completing discussions facilitated by the gov

i kept with odx because colin would have to be really "special" to mess up the position the company found itself in. i always said i felt it would come good.....

for the record...I don't give a jot what anyone thinks so save your breath...water off a .....

The thing is that my posting has always been a reflection of how I see the company .quite honestly the last 6 months have been a shower of poo ...all the companies own making. Of course if things improve I will change my tune...

there was a thread dedicated to sagging me off - i see it was removed. To be honest I would have preferred it stayed. I don't care what anon posters say about me. furthermore if/when there is no RNS by Wednesday people can draw their own conclusions - my posts or those being rude to me.

in my opinion if colin "can't sell a test in a pandemic" was going to release an RNS before the AGM on Wednesday - he would not have needed to tweet the tenuous link to Biden's announcement..

smoke and mirrors to deflect that AGM will be middle of september....and still nothing....still talking over gov contract no doubt...or waiting for approvals that should have been submitted long before.....maybe there is a new "key" market?

great. no doubt they will be more waiting and promise of jam whilst a submission for self test is made. is there a reason the self test could application could not have been made previously? if it were such a pivotal market ?

tec - that was my original hope with ODX when i first invested. make the most of this unique opportunity of covid to get cash and recognition to put ODX on the map. hopefully they can then use the cash to expand the portfolio in products they can realise sales on.
i see LFT as having a lot of potential in the future - with the right tests and if you can sell it

oke - again if through GAD/Mologic will that help us? or will GAD look at the possibility of selling to US at profit that could be then used to subsidise Africa???

if this were great news for ODX the market would have responded. Unfortunately Colin has used his twitter joker too many times with no substance - the market no longer buys it

oke - i have no doubt on FDA approval...my doubts are on the ability of ODX to "sell"

assuming there will be some nepotism in USA...what is the betting hunter and chinese friends?....why are we believing that ODX will be better at selling in US than here/africa/china or anywhere else they have been trying for some time?

anthony - thank you for the apology. that was unexpected but welcome.

my original intention was to top slice at £1.30 on approx 100,000 when the RNS on gov contract dropped. obviously that did not work out. i have averaged down with an extra approx 50,000 shares - so could get out earlier. I am not making any definite plans at the moment - as I would like to see where the ODX story goes. I certainly would consider it more of a trading share once i have got my return back - due to some of the antics in the last 6 months. however if it all came good with UK and USA i would be happy to reconsider

At the moment it looks like colin "cant sell a test in a pandemic" thinks he has got a get out of jail card. he was going to turn yup to AGM empty handed - yet now he can tweet about some jam in USA to deflect on what has been an absolute shambles. it is fine saying usa is pivotal in your plans but will they be able to sell anything there?
