My worry is that calamity will miss the boat on the potential agreement...at this stage I don't care if they lose a few pence on each test...let's just get the test sold...that will then put odx on the map..rather than at the moment they are more of a jam production company.

that has been my thinking for awhile. ODX need to sort out manufacturer agreement and then presumably get OK from gov. this puts a very different light on the wait.
if colin "cant sell a test in a pandemic" is as competent in closing the deal as he is with anything else - looks like we have squeaky bottom time. i wonder if manufacturer is trying to squeeze a tough deal - and i guess odx are thinking they are in a position of strength with being one of the few companies with a gov contract.
however colin needs to get a move on - there will be other companies waiting in the background..

stu - agree. Anybody taking notice of anon posters on t'internet is asking for trouble.

people have a motivation for posting whether it be nudging bod if they read or are informed/ venting/trying to manipulate price up or down/ trying to work stuff out/ ego etc. etc.

my view is listen to the views - the contrary ones are probably important as otherwise it is just confirmation bias - to see risks and judge general mood.

kevin - as i said yesterday i think people took profits out of ABDX and took a punt on ODX as surely the talks that the gov facilitated between odx and 3rd party can't go on forever? August was supposed to be the new April.

i hope odx are not pushing for too high a margin and are running the risk of missing out completely. At this time we need a test to produce and get going

the timing of the "release" of the email is interesting. I can't see the benefit of doing it yesterday if indeed it was a week old - if you are long. as i said in posts removed what was needed was radio silence to generate speculation and FOMO. email indicated more jam again.

Would be better to update all PI with regular communication. and if there is no update - why not? what value has been added with another months salary?

lovely day!...the good thing about ABDX is that i thought it would stall at 20% ish...the continued rise to 70% is very encouraging - as we need 100% in odx to get back to £1.

Bear - looking at your posting history - all you seem to do is comment on other posters who don't post a rose tinted view on odx. far from exchanging your detailed research - you wouldn't have anything to write at all without them!

the anti body news isnt good for us - and the gov not wanting our antibody test is already priced in - imho.

The odx test tells you if there are antibodies present not the concentration. So no goods for this research. Could be useful as a personal test to see if you have run out and need a booster? So possible use to someone in the world if they can sell it?

Of the 170 staff..how many are agency in other words paying too much for them but can let them go quickly if need be.

I don't buy this ..well they must be all working producing huge amounts ...how much storage do the odx sites have? They don't look particularly big

Can't see odx telling the gov where to go..even if they wanted to...possibility of post covid contracts etc.

I just hope they learn from others and don't let the invoices run up. First one not paid then a halt on production..

My guess is that odx will get to keep the equipment...but it is only of use if they get some contracts...elsewhere

lets be honest for many if your share is down - you don't want to see negative posts (fear of promoting more selling) and you are overjoyed to see positive posts (hope to inspire buying and give confidence that your loss will turn back into a profit)

there may still be some people may try use the board to lower the SP to an attractive buy in price - well we must surely have had that for awhile. my suspicion is the majority of negative posts are people venting their frustration - particularly at management. it seems strange to pat colin "cant sell a test in a pandemic" on the back for this absolute disastrous 6 months in SP history

personally i really doubt much posting on here will change anything.

I believe it will still come good - despite the management/sales/pr teams.

As for only being a "paper loss" - the point is that there is no guarantee it will rise. your asset is valued at what it is worth now - you might be forced to sell out.
