the "boris visit" was as desperate as "the delivery photo opportunity" and "blinds" and the "250 are not sitting around doing nothing" etc. etc. compare with the company PR of "contract might not be fully filled"/director sells and "dont buy a tesla."

private telegram group seems a bit self defeating for me. If there is "news" that would uplift SP it needs to be shared around as much as possible - to encourage buyers.

as for price predictions. Anybody predicting "x" will quite probably be selling at "x-y". i suspect a person quoting a price of £1.20 will possibly be selling at £1.just like those quoting £2.50 will possibly be out at a much lower price than that.

the time is right for odx..they have good products in a pandemic. should be like selling the last cold pepsi in the desert

PI need to stop back slapping them for achieving no sales in a pandemic and put them on the spot......if the current directors/sales team are not fit for purpose then maybe time for replacement? this opportunity will not last for ever...tick tock

exactly. the problem is that people get carried away on twitter - reacting to a sycophant bubble who are an echo chamber. They do not realise that the majority read and don't participate and don't necessarily share the same views.

at best it was unprofessional. made the company look like clowns. at worst it was disrespectful and sent out the wrong message to the market. criminal if your job is PR.

the worst thing is that it was in a news vacuum - which meant there was no real driver to repair the damage. the reason why the SP has been floored. in addition it would have put off some existing and potential investors - people don't want to trust their hard earned cash with loose cannons. as for institutional investors - forget it.

hedge - my guess it was written by "wally" brook PR. he seems a bit of a wide boy and prob thought he was a social media influencer like elon musk. well he was but not in a good way. first it was insulting - like PI were stupid children. second i would never buy a tesla....and thirdly it cost me the price of a brand new tesla. it made odx look like a bunch of clowns to boot. they have never recovered from it - and won't until mega orders are in.

i have my doubts - with no test agreed yet.....and we don't have much to show for this if they are indeed working flat out. Personally I would prefer them to work "smart". Get those sales from abroad.

karaleva - i don't think he is a liar. though i was not entirely convinced on his reasons why the directors sold? yes they are in and out of closed periods but why sell at all if the story is so good? was a bit of flannel on that methinks.

nobody is asking calamity to lie. an rns just stating the facts would have been fine. he chose - for whatever reason - to put the negative spin. in the best case scenario that is the actions of someone who does not understand AIM. not good news for a ceo of a company people are trusting their life savings with. the SP will drop on many things so you need to get gains when you can to balance things out. you certainly dont give it ammunition to punish you

he is ceo of a company sells products - so he needs to be able to sell the product to buyers and potential share holders. he has been found wanting on both so far.

i think the trouble is like many who mess about on twitter - it is easy to think that a very small bubble of sycophants is the general population - and you communicate as such.

4fb - totally agree. anybody who bought in the last year is probably down. a solid investment does not drop 50% - through the antics of directors/ceo/PR machine. therefore a lot of people will not consider it as a share to "invest" in but to trade. A lot will look to get out as soon as they get even - so it will be a struggle to keep any gains. All through the company shooting themselves in the foot. has calamity and wally learnt? time will tell - but a lot of damage has already been done

one would hope the gamble is over. the price seems to have hit its "floor" and the good news we all hope for should re rate the SP. i am not sure on the food intolerance - plus it needs to be "sold" - something that does not appear to be a strong point of the company.

the short term picture is very much dependent on covid - that is why odx needs to make hay. once that cash is in the bank then hopefully they can expand into other more future lucrative projects

merchant - lets hope you are right. it is why i kept holding as the price has plummeted.

i suspect on award of the gov contract, ODX took their foot off the gas. was it that they didn't feel the need to hawk the product as much? or maybe didnt even want to for fear of being over run by demand? i dont blame their for the gov behaviour but have they been guilty of keeping their eggs in one basket? for too long?

every day that goes by there are more and more competitors - and seemingly able to sell less efficient products. this pandemic won't last for ever- hopefully!

mr india - agreed the ceo has to take responsibility for the company as a whole and the performance of the individual departments. especially including PR and sales

I have worked in companies where the sales team were poor - failed carphone warehouse types. they were paid a salary and there was no real incentive - they got paid regardless. Although the rest of the team were great and produced a great service the results were dependent on it being sold. the reputation of the companies suffered as a consequence.
my fear is that maybe ODX are suffering similarly. Are the sales team are as competent as Wally brook.....Colin presumably OK ed that particular hiring.

yes things take time but nobody knows how long the window of opportunity as regards covid will be. Are other companies finding it as hard to sell a test in a pandemic?

I am down £50k sine the £1 SP. I put the blame fully on Colin "cant sell a test in a pandemic " and the "wide boy" PR machine that is Walbrook. non negative RNS/TESLA tweets destroyed sentiment and the SP for no reason.

dsaf - if you look at the chart, anyone who bought in the last year is problem currently at a loss. that is not traders that is investors who thought in a pandemic some tests would be sold.

the only reported sales - were the director's shares. I hear they wanted to buy Teslas

odx will need a better track record on delivering the jam and sorting out their PR.

depends which tests they use? will it be more innova rubbish? or will they finally support british based firms?

yeah sure could be a giant conspiracy theory or just pony management/pr and people dumping the share (following the director's example)

maybe it is just that odx have decimated both the SP and sentiment when the contract was announced? they then have had months with nothing being manufactured for the gov - not their fault - however not killing SP would have afforded some security in SP.

a lot of people have lost a lot of money due to colin "couldnt sell a test in a pandemic" and probably sold out to cut the losses
