my original hope was that odx would make hay with the £374m and then expand the portfolio. i think blood test for other viruses - hepatitis/ HPV etc would be good earners. The odx hiv test should be making a lot more money in my opinion.

however it will need vision, strategy and ability to market and sell.

99- i agree that if the next variant is milder than omicron the free tests will be gone by june. not that it makes any difference to odx as they allowed their contract to expire.
however the big boys will then be in the commercial market and that will who odx will be competing with...at the moment it does not look like a fair fight...like chad picking on the tubby slow kid at school.

i don't think odx will produce for mologic in usa - why make here and then transport? will probably be cheaper to manufacture in the country they are selling in with less transportation costs

hasiba - i think the market includes a certain amount of forward projection in its value today - otherwise going by the accounts which should not even be at this price.

the trouble with colin's silence is that it erodes confidence that any other plan b/c/d etc are being worked on. for example what is the plan with self test and USA. how long does he need to work out whether it is worth applying for?
it was probably this sort of delay that caused the eu approval application being so late and the price we are now paying - waiting in an ever increasing queue of probably sub standard chinese tests which are aggressively being pushed to the top of the line

the true value? is what the price is ..anything else is just opinion on which way the SP will go. the non covid products have not been sold in any significant quantity, a time line of 2023 does not make it worth 40p today - which brokers no doubt paid for by odx have suggested. strange i haven't seen an update from them in months anyway?

odx rose to £1 on the strength of being in the right place at the right time for a covid portfolio and gov contract. prior to be given this once in a life time opportunity the non covid portfolio valued the company at something like a third of its current mcap. there have been no significant changes in the non covid portfolio

they have blown the gov contract through not knowing when it would expire...they have waited too long for approvals ....and truth is they don't seem to have much of a strategy in place should any approval drop from eu/usa

they still have the opportunity to make hay from covid - but they need to hit the ground running as soon as any approval drops.....will they? will colin?

you may think/wish it to be higher but that does not mean anything until the market changes its opinion on the true value

asher - i am afraid you are wrong they have their own inventory with a certain amount of shares. they need this to provide liquidity
