i suspect a lot will read the q&a with the view to deciding to stay or go. unfortunately the current absence of the rampers on this board has shown there is not much positive to takeaway......approvals should come at some time but still no indication that odx will be able to translate that into sales. donkey kong is here to stay.

i think that one good from this pandemic -whether or not odx actually earn any significant income from it - is that it has put lft firmly on the map.
there should be a load of opportunities for the self test market - hiv and food are two excellent examples though i do believe their idea of "key markets" for it is the wrong strategy.
this could / should be a boom time for any diagnostic company with any vision and hard work. calamity will find it increasingly hard to "disappear".....his days of slinking off to the car park with a greggs sausage roll and can of tenants super extra with mates like BJ are coming to an end.

tco - smoke and mirrors. odx have gone for pro use approval - waste of time. they even admitted in the q&a that the market for lft is self use.....doesnt take a rocket scientist to work that out

missed the boat. early self test approval..and they could have raised the cash for it by a placing near a £1 back in jan/feb and they would be laughing...but colin "napoleon strategist" prefeered to fiddle

if a gov contract gets awarded to any other company during this period - we will always question whether it could have been us - had colin topped up his pay as you go

kate - i have said all along i don't believe we will get an approval rns before xmas. whilst it sounds good and the pressie we have all been waiting for i can't see 6months of waiting being wrapped up conveniently in the next day or two- just because it is xmas.

I wonder how long it took to actually copy n paste mostly the same half a dozen answers and couple of audio clips? As usual colin's idea of busy and hard work is not the norm. At most a day's work

tbh i expected some wiffle waffle but by repeating the same questions over and over again but written slightly differently and then copy n pasting the standard answer made the thing excrutiatingly boring to read ...which was probably the intention? and make the company look stupid again. no proof reading is shocking and indicative of the slap dash culture under colin - no wonder the approval applications get returned consistently

rather than pretend they were answering each investor independently - though the answer was a copy n pate even if not exactly answering the specifics - A full account would have been easier to read

haven't seen much of the rampers?...clearly not much to get your teeth in other than

1) company will be surprised if they dont get approvals - really? be game over as the rest of the portfoliowon't keep the lights on with that number of staff
2)over 300 staff - so must be busy busy

All in all i think the sp has done very well to stay at these levels given the latest sh*te show and closing down for a long xmas holiday at a crucial time.

benny - rather than your usual critique of any posters you don't agree with - in other words are critical of odx - why don't you do something useful.
read the q&a and sell it to me - what positives are there? change my mind. maybe there is something i am not seeing. play the ball not the man

kate - some placings add value. eg a placing to fund self test approval might cause a temp blip in SP but the positives would quickly kick in

ii would be a good move for ODX - as it would give credibility and maybe keep colin on his toes. if they used the cash to buy the gov machinery at a discount then that would potentially be a good move as well. just depends on what the market thinks as always

kate - tbh i wouldn't worry about a placing at the moment. i think if odx did one then colin would lose his job. i think he must realise that he is not that popular among enough of the present existing shareholders given the number of questions.

however the mechanics are that there would be x% discount and the sp usually drops to that level - even if only temporary. obviously given the current SP it would mean more shares than they would have had to do at £1.

kate - institutional investors usually come at a price. they want a discount to market price hence a placing. the placing would be at a discount. i am in a share where there was a recent placing at 30% discount i believe. i have seen better and worse terms.

the company then get that cash to - well there is a crude term which i won't use.

beynon - from memory it was staff as of 30th nov - but i can't be arsed to go back and check - it is hardly a riveting read

i have always stated that i did not believe they would need a placing unless to cover us self test approval - however i had not anticipated that level of staffing. they will need to seriously cull some unless some seriously big orders come through quickly.
