Benny..I should be flattered as if you only post twice a day I must often be your only subject...eg yesterday..I don't know how accurate it is as I often skim past your posts as I know it will have nothing to do with odx itself.

So out of curious interest ..why don't you ever post something that refutes what twatcher says or strike a dialogue with him about odx.

Why spend your time worrying about him and not in the share you are supposedly invested in ? If he has got it wrong let him and the rest of us know how and why .

and I am not being malicious either..I just don't get it.

Twatcher - you have to remember that there are a group of posters that have nothing at all to say on odx....nada..a stock they are supposedly invested in...their only reason for coming on here is to pass comment on other posters..

Strangely they can't understand why those of us who have invested heavily in a company that should be selling tests in a pandemic are on here...complaining

If we weren't they would have nothing to say..which personally I find strange and a waste of their obviously much more valuable time...according to them...

As for the disappearance and then reappearance of some ..I put that down to them slinking off when those of us critical were proved right. After a short interlude they feel safe poking their heads out again...and normal service is resumed.

i agree that we have no test to sell until approvals come and that there is very low sentiment in share. they indicated they would place if necessary for growth - very different from needing to fund a contract? surely there could be pre-payment for materials on any contract?

we are burning cash and need some contracts soon.

Sad f - i have been involved in aim for many years. when there is a change in CEO - it is not unusual for them to do an interview or set out their stall. share his vision etc
seeing a 20% drop on his appointment - could/should have brought out a response from someone who has just taken over company that has been hammered.

if the sp had stayed the same yesterday fair enough but a 20% drop at one stage - after such a recent decimation - on his new appointment is not normal

100% agree on wally will make you broke - since they clearly are not allowed to post anything other than approved by odx - they clearly are not offering any value. my hope is that odx are just running down their contract. we know how good calamity was at reading them!

there may well be more pain but we had to get rid of colin . i hope they can still cash in on covid. eu approvals would be my best bet. i suspect they might sign over uk self test to dam. hopefully the new guy will be a bit better at contracts. he clearly understood the gov one better than colin which is why he sold out at a high sp.

the thing is as i have always said odx have a very good portfolio. they just need to tap in the right markets. a hiv self test should be a good earner in developed countries. whilst africa might be altruistic how profitable will it be?
food intolerance again should be a good earner in nice middle class societies. trying to sell to the chinese is a bit naive in my opinion.

i suspect colin did not have a clue of what was going on in his factory let alone when he is going to get an approval. my suspicion is that the board looked at the SP and realised that it was either him or the whole bunch. colin was called in , mumbled something unintelligible about not wanting to be a scapegoat and then said clear out your desk - BJ is waiting for you in the car park. last we will ever see or hear of him i hope.

fwiw - i don't think that odx will have to pay the gov back...i suspect it will turn up more worms than it is worth. one would also like to think that odx finally got a lawyer who could read a contract before they issued that statement.

i said earlier today that if it does go down the legal route then it will take a long time...just look at how long ncyt have been waiting for their issue to be resolved. lets say a year ? and in a years time i would like to think odx will be in a very different place - who knows actually selling something.

today's rns has put paid to a placing in the short term. so really it comes down to what plans the new CEO has. one would hope he wants to hit the ground running and also start promoting and giving interviews
