Garyn is particularly distasteful when he circles a struggling company like a vulture. Shrieking with glee as people lose money...however sees himself as some altruistic type...

Quite happy to keep quiet about stocks he pumped that fail though..

bad day for covid stock - possibly due to boris speech.

market is currently very tough and very willing to drop sp but reluctant to give any rise.

thinkin - in all honesty i would have preferred to see jag as an interim CEO - give him a chance and see what value he can add in the short term giving them an opportunity to look for someone better if need be. however an interim could possibly have hit the sp as well due to market not liking the uncertainty.

for me today was good news because at least colin goes. the new guy cannot be any worse

i would like to see some pro active publicity and interviews as soon as possible to show that communication has improved as well as strategy. i hope they pay for a prominent position in the exhibition shortly coming up

the real issue is how much people will continue to need to test for travel and other events.

personally i think boris is rushing out the reversal of plan b to distract from partygate. i do think it is too soon and we could end up with rising numbers again if not careful. my guess is that february will be very cold and that could encourage spread.

computer - they had pencilled in April. Omicron was obviously a spanner in the works but they will stop as soon as they can. they are hardly supplying my local chemists as it is. the weather will improve by April and May thus reducing spread if no other nasty variant comes along. so june seems logical. obviously reuters have had some leak to confirm that there are plans afoot

i did predict june as end of free tests - fingers crossed if omicron continues to be dominant variant and we move into warmer weather

however all could change with another variant - in any case worth stocking up and also using up gov stock. you never know if they need more and if enough bad press about not supporting uk diagnostics - miracles might happen

these kind of posters probably don't actually have anything to offer - no research or even ideas/opinions

they prob do zilch research on the company and buy in because of someone else's recommendation. if it goes pear shape they have no logical argument to anyone who criticises so just shout down other posters in hope that it will change the sentiment and help recover sp

don't see it as ambiguous at all. they have enough cash at the moment so not in need - which is what the malicious rumours have been saying the last week.

however in the future if they need to for growth in the future they will - just as any other company would.

seems honest to me and negates the untrue rumour that has destroyed the SP in the last week or so . they don't need to because of current running costs

i have said for some time now that a placing that adds value is not always bad news. eg they might go for self test approval in usa - that sounds like they would need to raise. however if they could get the sales would be a blinding move both short term and long term in getting a foothold there.

twatcher - fair points. however he is now the man in charge and been given his opportunity. a promotion. i am hoping he rises to the challenge. lets face it he could not be worse than calamity. so that is the first step forward

moreover since i suspect colin was pushed the company have shown they are willing to get rid of dead wood - could have been a lot sooner granted.

i think the share now needs some positivity and am happy to look at it with fresh eyes. though new guy is under probation

they would seem to have enough cash at present to wait until approvals drop hopefully soon.

the issue with the gov will take time especially if legal is involved. i am hoping they will come out on top but if worse case scenario then further along when hopefully they are making a profit

it would be good if they could get permission to use the equipment or the option of a very cheap buy

personally very happy colin has gone. will give the new guy the benefit of the doubt. hopefully approvals drop and he has a good sales strategy - maybe upgrade the sales team?

well the main thing is that it stopped the immediate 7% drop we were having every morning. Could reaction have been better - yes. but i suspect the market is happy to wait and see as I am.

the market is very quick and keen to drop on any bad news. the climb back is always a lot slower. as previously said a lot of lth bailed out this last week. it will take time to get new investors in

the main thing is that it is a fresh start and before it is too late to make hay on covid

correction - colin did not read or understand the gov contract and sat on his harris all of 2021. seemed like a nice guy but lost a lot of people a lot of money. zero sympathy.

if there was in bad news coming then colin would have been left in charge to take the fall. New CEO knows the situation and would not take the job if anything bad around corner.

Great news colin has gone - however i am not sure that using existing staff is the best move . would have preferred new blood

One can only guess how long a pandemic will last. The danger is the temptation to us in wishing it to continue to get our money back . The reality is that on current form it would have to last forever before Colin can monetise anything.

I suppose the closest we have been to this kind of thing in recent history is the Spanish flu which lasted 2 years . We have easier travel to make it more contagious but at the same time greater technology to fight it. Does this balance out? Possibly?

Personally I would not guess on how long it will last...I only hope it will be as short as possible. Colin has missed his biggest opportunity to make hay...the question is will he be allowed to miss every other opportunity.
