"Covid....I was very surprised with that remark in the rns! To mention 50% was a total schoolboy error, and another GM gaffe, or was it done on purpose? Chances are very high there will be another variant and pcr testing will be back with vengeance in the UK.He could of worded it very differently,.But that statement giving out a such a large percentage, when he doesn't even know its a fact...is unforgiving...."
every one knows the covid market is unpredictable - are we starting to deal something that will be treated like flu or are we going to get another variant to set us back. nobody knows. no need to say anything. or "it is difficult to predict future income due to the uncertainty surrounding covid" etc etc
one does have to wonder why he chose to put that in. if he thought it would be positive then he does not have a clue about the market. you never give an opportunity to kick you in the crutch - especially in the current climate.
i suspect that he did it on purpose to cover himself - if there is any drop from present income he has already come clean. anything between 50%-100% and he looks good.
brutual day. unbelievable that in a pandemic a diagnostic company with £100m cash and expected results crashes 23%
