I was thinking about the SP today. I think in typical aim fashion there could be one day out of the blue when the SP just rockets and it re-rates. no obvious rhyme or reason just happens. it is the aim way with some shares.
I don't necessarily see an increase in SP with the passing of each percentage point by bio...however the game is afoot ..we know bio's modus operandum . something is going to happen - the question is whether you want to book early and guarantee a seat or risk it for a cheap last minute one

I am not up on GDR...but from what I saw they sold 6 machines...so that rise is purely sentiment driven..pump and dump.

Ncyt seem to be a lot more professional...but they either don't realise the aim game or don't want to ay it...until it suits them

Kaeren ..I think more and more people will be coming round to your way of thinking. I saw an interesting interview yesterday with an eminent businessman ..who said there was only one vaccine and the rest are gene therapy.

Personally I thought the booster developed pre Omicron was always going to be dubious. Figures would seem to back that up.

Personally I don't see anything bemusing. They have a history of getting 20% and then a merger or a deal.

They don't have a time limit for it...ncyt are not going anywhere. ...We still need to wait prob a month for the forward plan. Ncyt don't pump the sp ..or even release rns when new products are launched it seems..

They will get 20% at the cheapest price probable...so they can wait whilst the traders sell into any rise.

Just cos we are on here every day ...and have the impatience of aim investors ..is not their problem

I suspect ncyt have an idea what they are up to...hence the CFO buy. DA as usual has gone MIA...if he has not got something good in store next month then I can see him rapidly going out of favour...if you don't think an rns on a new launch is important then fine but you need to show something better.

the way i see it is they were accumulating and then war broke out - it then was put on hold to see how things would develop.
they are probably building slowly as they want the best possible price for their shares. Anyone who watches ncyt will see it goes up then starts dropping - as too many retail traders. they could have bought at 240p 2 days or just about 200p yesterday. they may even have instructions with MMs to buy at certain prices

the other good thing with them buying is that hopefully at some stage the free float that can be traded is going to be reduced. which will reflect in SP

could be some moving on as there has been some good profit for anybody buying in under £2 - was why CFO buy at £2.02 (or whatever it was) was a good marker. i think it gives a bit of a floor
also could be the MMs are collecting to balance books for previous or future buys.
Either way bio are waiting stage left ready to buy in - they still need a lot more for whatever they are up to

i sold out of poly on monday - as i figured all the trackers will dump this week if possible - possibly a lot of shares.
also the poly guy could end up on a sanction list and then the money is locked in for the duration of war at least - like here.

R2 is around 241p

I was surprised how easy it went through 231p and how long it stayed in the channel between r1 and R2.

I suspect this share is heavily traded ...it normally goes up and then drops...

I have a large pot and a trading pot...however I am very much sensing that something is brewing...in regards to bio. I want to be fully loaded as and when.

The sub £2 has gone...quickly.. if the ducks line up the sub £3 could go as well. To double your money at £3 it needs to go to £6...

So whilst there are some nifty trades to be made it might be the wrong time.

I am working back my losses - touch wood. but it is going to take a lot more time and effort than it took ODX to lose me £10,000s.

if he was buying 3-6 months before the LTIP kicks in then fair enough. for me it is too early to be trying to manage the SP.

i think the CFO buy is as a result of bio - so yes the bio move has more weight. however i do think the cfo buy stopped the possible retrace that we have seen pretty soon after bio's previous buys. the SP was already bobbing down at £2 earlier

I am not convinced the CFO is interested in making a signal. he is a money man and will want as much bang for his buck.
thinking about it i think he probably waited until bio re entered the arena.

i am guessing this is now the best time for director buys....they know bio are serious but they don't have anything official to make it a closed period...

i have said all along that i think bio will buy up to 20% before they make a move. the bod may have an idea why they want a stake in NCYT - whether that be merger or deal - but without notification they cannot say anything
