Good to hear there are some other traders around, rather than the usual boring stuff on these channels. I occasionally trade the range on this share, but have been out of it for a while. The main action I've found lately has been in oil stocks. They're currently pulling back; maybe we'll get the next leg starting next week.

Yeah, that also confued me.

I checked on the Barclays site itself and it's the same there as well. It looks like an error.

The consensus target price that I currently see (14 brokers) is: 657.21p

1) I disagree with the comment from Zac that 'oil companies producing north of a thousand barrels are typically worth £50m plus'. The closest company that I can find to UOG is Serinus Energy (SENX), which produces ~1,800 boepd with cap £18.5m. If anybody knows of any other UK companies producing 1000 boepd, and worth £50m, I'm keen to look at them.

2) Brian seemed to indicate that a dividend might be in year 3 or year 4 from now. I don't care about the divi. I'd rather see *consistent* production of 3,000 boepd.

Disclaimer: I'm long both UOG and SENX. I'm positive about both, but discuss facts, good or bad.

Anybody able to explain why we're at a similar level to 2008 - the global financial crisis, when there were genuine solvency questions?

Unless this is being driven down, the only explanation that I can find is concerns about cum-ex. OR somebody thinks TCAP will report results even poorer than expected.

Are you a comedian? Boo has fallen even more than TCAP and is still falling.

And the best thing is that almost nobody complains to the FCA, even if they knew what to look for, which they don't... it's free money for stock manipulators in the UK. Much easier than drug-running or robbery. Just run a little algo on the stock exchange and rake in the money. Once you're done, you ride the stock back up again and then start all over again or move onto another stock!

Nobody in their right mind lists a good company on LSE. It's an international joke. Almost no regulatory oversight; money-laundering galore, blatant manipulation even on the main market.

Have you ever wondered how small short selling volume moves the share price this much?
Answer - it's not ordinary short selling.
They run an algo, whose intention is to drop the price.
Same algo used on ASC, RMG and NETW.

I spent 20+ years working in The City.
I've never seen a clearer case of Market Manipulation in my career.
Anybody that looks at the L2 data shoudl clearly see the continual, deliberate manipulation.

@JG: I know how you feel. It's been a nightmare start to the year. The only thing that I've done well on so far this year is oil stocks. FYI; they're all pulling back at the moment, because they're over-bought, along with oil itself.

My best oil picks are: I3E, GKP

In my view, I3E is the least risky.

As long as results are good, I'll add to my position. If they're cra*, I'll re-evaluate, but probably wait and add later.

The bid/ask spread on this is very offputting. A massive turnoff for new investors.

Those posts are 100% accurate. I invested for the first time on 17 Jan. I administer several accounts and bought KIST in a couple of them. I added significantly on the day of the RNS, but after seeing the market reaction, I exited. I'd be 20% down if I didn't do that. I am an active investor in lots of energy stocks, not that it's any of your business...

@CAINO: I don't ramp or de-ramp stocks. I'm not trying to ramp Serica. I'm not (currently) even a shareholder in Serica.

My interest is to understand the share price differences in KIST and other companies. I've been a shareholder in KIST before, but I sold my holding after seeing the reaction to the last RNS.

What I'm interested in is two-sided discussion about companies. For example, I don't see anything particularly special ESG-wise in KIST. Basically, they just bought some old assets from other energy companies and then declared that they're the new ESG-friendly energy company (as if most investors even care...). Sounds like BS to me.

KIST definitely has a charismatic CEO and I think he's done a superb job to get this far so quickly.

Agreed, I'd like to see more diversification and pipeline, but isn't that the strategy anyway? JT seemed to imply they'd have firepower of ~$150m later this year. They'll be looking at record earnings and have lots of cash to deply. Coal and cobalt both look very strong.

I agree with what you're saying re: Value Investing and companies without a pipeline. But I don't see APF in this category; clearly the market disagrees with me at the moment.

- SALAMANCA / URANIUM

Early Stage:
- CAÑARIACO / COPPER
- PILBARA / IRON ORE
- INCOA / CALCIUM CARBONATE
- DUGBE 1 / GOLD

With Cobalt and Coking Coal prices so strong, APF should also be able to add another significant royalty this year. I've not studied these development/early stage projects, but this looks like a decent pipeline. It looks like they're going to have a record year and have plenty of cash to deploy.
