Why is BOO falling when every other stock is at all time highs.13 Sep 2022 18:32
I am being sarcastic.
Hardly unusual is it. ASOS has dropped some 80-90% from 18 - 24 months ago. The market is acting on fear of recession and inflation. Everyone I know and speak too is still going out spending money and booking holidays. Why? Because most people still have jobs. The energy cap for the next two years will boost confidence to spend.
I am buying stocks, here and elsewhere, because the time to buy stocks is when there is blood on the street's and everyone is running around naked screaming sell and shorter's are shorting stocks that are way oversold.
The time to sell is when/was people are predicting £10 a share for boo in 6 months and it being X100 bagger.
Of course, it could go lower, short term no one knows. Based on history, economies always bounce back because people are insatiable when it comes to chasing wealth and prosperity. People are not going to sit back and eat lentils and wear the same clothes and never go out and not travel again.
