RE: 39.5M Sell30 Apr 2019 08:53
Jiving, both you & Jay (amongst others) ), are 'stale bulls' as Tom Bulford of RHPS once explained to me re: another stock - hence your current questionable posting.
Regarding your purported trade, I can only call that into question also and much prefer looking at price action which is more indicative of the real state of affairs than your given word.
A 39.5M buy at that price.....really?
Again, I'll state my reasoning behind this stock and underpinned by logic & experience, rather than wild and somewhat desperate rhetoric.
I'm taking out all the 'noise' from my asessment and looking at the facts & price movement......beyond any ramping activities that are currently prevalent.
The Company need an urgent injection of cash, which we can all agree as a given - the most likely avenue to facillitate that is through a Placing of new shares.
Some would argue that a seperate financing agreement will be reached, but I see this as highly unlikely and somewhat 'hopeful' thinking.
The CEO has a track record of pushing Placings on the market to address cash needs, sometimes after blatantly denying that course of action in days preceeding such cash calls.
Placings for cash strapped Aim stocks are nothing new and certainly not unique to COPL - indeed, price action leading up to such announcements is often very telling.
The CEO went on an active PR campaign to bolster sentiment for the stock, which resulted in the continued steady decline from circa 0.12p at the time of his LSE interview, to circa 0.09p a few weeks later - his PR calls had zero affect on sentiment, indicative of a background Placing being arranged and indeed, he himself acknowledged that all such options were open.
The recent price action / ramping was triggered IMMEDIATELY after the link was posted about the Letter of Intent for the rig, something which was already in the public domain. However, new potential investors looking in, were unaware of this and the concerted ramping canpaign ran with it.
Much more telling is what was happening to the price prior to said Ramping and the urgent Financing needs previously mentioned.
I do think an RNS is almost certainly about to hit and it should confirm said Placing and at a discount to the prevailing price, before the recent on board 'promotion/ramping' of the stock - hence circa 0.08p.
We'll find out soon enough
