Takeover speculation will be interesting to see - GRN in the market now and Asset value significantly greater than current market cap.

Will see if potential Buyers view the assets in the context of strategic purchases within the post Brexit environment.

£3 would be certainly be welcome and again, the scarcity of stock would underpin such a rise off the back of positive sentiment related to the upcoming trading update.

I'm looking at the steady price appreciation as part of the Uptrend in place and underpinned by the positive sentiment from the company.

I think we'll see the price move comfortably into the 150p-200p range very soon and it's reassuring to see any slight price dips being bought into.

The dips are being bought into, underpinning the Uptrend in place.

Still holding MATD Lallee, but just letting that do its own thing.

Ihardly watch the BBs nowadays tbh and only post sporadically, having moved a good portion of my PF into blue chips, but yes, very comfortable holding YU. too, for a number of reasons.

Hopefully looking to BPC ti finally deliver on that massive 'potential' that the stock has and certainly better positioned for it than ever before, post the BP Gulf of Mexico debacle.

Next few days I would think, given the current negotiations and the way this rises - still well short of the recent 6p and previous high of 25p.

Will look to pick up some more YU. stock hopefully.

Don't often watch the shorter term price moves nowadays, but look to pick up stock I'm interested in and see how they progress - also taking into consideration the overall intended holding level with availability of stock in a rising price range.

Hopefully will have made a significantly impressive Profit, when we're back above £5 per share.....let alone any of the previously much higher levels.

'NoEasy', you're obviously refering to YU. (Yu Group) in the reference to the 'alternative investment' that has a very real likelihood of multibagging, especially given the scant 16M shares in issue.

That may indeed be the case and I already own stock there, irrespective of you mentioning it on this BB.

Read as 2107.....not 2027!!

The average period in 2015 may have been as stated, but since 2027 they've had new systems in place to bring a greater efficiency & streamlining to the way they carry investigations out.

Again, only the actual RNS will confirm things, but given such a limited stock availability and my own expectations, I'm certainly retaining a full holding here.

I also see slight weaknesses being bought into well before any significant price dips, as part of expected variance in the underlying Uptrend.

Again, the way I see this playing out and accepting others may want or see things another way.

I wondered at the time if the '6-12 month' comment was just a way to handle investor (justifiable) impatience, noted from past experience, hence overly cautious in timeframes.

Anything could more immediately materialise out of discussions, such as the previous exclusivity option and given that multiple Parties are at the table.

I wont risk being uninvested in the stock during any period.

Only an RNS will give us that clarity obviously but noting other such investegations (accepting each is unique to the case), I'd be extremely surprised to see it extend over that time period of another year. My own view is that although these things are never rushed, the FCA have had a 'reasonable' amount of time to conduct the process and we should be looking at an outcome in the nearer term.

Again, let's await the actual RNS for confirmation, albeit I believe we'll see that bouyancy on the price within the higher trading range but well short of what we can expect on aforementioned news.

As it is, we've seen a lot of negative sentiment already built into the price over the period of first disclosure and up until now, hence looking for that gradual Uptrend to continue to a higher range than present, accepting short term price variances.

We've seen that established and tested, with a strong bounce off it. Good to have that base as we now await further near term Newsflow.

Harry's shenanigans aside, lol, at least we can all agree News should be immanant.

Clarity from an official RNS (rather than bogus email correspondence), is what we're all looking for here, so lets hope we get that in the coming few days.

I bought a small batch as part of a 'staggered buying' approach, only so that I could have some holding here, with any further sizeable purchase awaiting said clarity.

YU. Group is where I put my more serious investment, but besides the point, albeit highlights the speculative aspect of my current purchase here.

An RNS update this month one would think.

Yes armatrading, I remember those times with Uncas & co, albeit I didn't involve myself in much of any discussions, having other more significant investments to focus on - however, we're much closer to a deal now, imo.

I believe the 87p party was looking at certain operational milestones being achieved and not contingent on an actual oil strike.

The share price on a succesful strike would obviously depend on the magnitude of such but very possibly could dwarf the 87p pre-party - we don't know, but holding now gives an opportunity to strategically derisk leading through the drill and still benefit from the results of such - hence, good to be holding.

The 25p share price a few years ago was without any confirmation of a Partner and a weaker oil price, albeit somewhat less shares in issue.

Actual RNS confirmation will be the real gamechanger of course and very interesting to see the impact it'll have on the share price.

Good to be holding stock for such an eventuality!
