It takes time to raise Financing and the other developments alluded to would require such finance to have been raised or in the process of being raised.

It would seem the ceo is on an aggressive PR to make such a financing deal seem 'better value' to the subscribers of such a deal, albeit the 'non effect' it's having, likely to do with the knowledge of such a deal being required and the specific details of said deal.

The fact that the ceo is on a PR campaign to blatantly raise sentiment AND that the share price is tanking despite that, would suggest that a significantly dilutive fundraising is being worked behind the scenes.

COPL quite obviousy need a Cash injection, so it certainly isn't rocket science to anticipate what we can expect here.

The transactor of the bond, namely the Nigerian Bank will be required to pay the sume of the bond, or part thereof, to the claimant and in breach of specified conditions pertaining to the Bond.

The bank would require such funds to be available from COPL, in the event of such a claim, the LOC (or form thereof) being the actual financial instrument covering the bond.

I don't need to quote some general definition of such bonds - I've studied international trade & payments as well legalities pertaining to that sphere

Funds will be required imminantly to realize the 'ready to go status' into the actual conclusion of said arrangement.

I don't really wish to spend any more time here, expounding on the subject and am only doing so, as specific points are being addressed to me.

Let's just see what transpires here - the current share price should maybe tell you something.

The 'Performance Bond' will be transacted through an LOC or similar financial instrument!!

I'm well aware of the way financial instruments work and the LOC to the Nigerian Govt., issued from the bank, will need the requisite funds in deposit.

The LOC may have been drawn up and ready to go, conditional upon said funds being arranged or in the 'process of arrangement'.

When such arrangement is concluded, via the Placing (or other means', the completed paperwork will be issued - hence why I expect news on such a fundraising to be imminent.

Those 'suspect' posters are perhaps the ones making multiple, ill researched posts.

The bonds being transacted through the bank through a LOC and as the vehicle through which the Govt operate, but funds need to be provided to cover that financial tool!

The company isn't 'just about to do' anything, unless it covers the cash requirements for the bond (and other expenses) as clearly stated.

The current media rounds etc, look to be a very obvious attempt at boosting private shareholder sentiment, to facillitate a cash call on better terms.

Yesterdays interview prettt much said all options were effectively 'dilutive' with current initiatives not having impacted the price at all -unsurprisingly as we all know whats coming regarding said dilution.

I'm going to let those developments play out and see how much the price will be inpacted through that.

I can see many people looking to Buy stock, initiating new positions or building on existing ones, with any slight dips that manifest in the Share price - hence very confident we'll be progressing comfortably into the 2-3p range fairly soon.

That's only my view on it with others perhaps having a different perspective - however, very excited for this stock going forward, particularly with regards to the very significant factors discussed previously and all positively impacting the Current Farm-in negotiations taking place.

I have a substantial amount of stock I will be looking to acquire with any available funds and as previously, will post such accordingly.

Given the highly relevant & positive factors now underpining the current Negotiations, we've never been in a better position to conclude said talks and arrive at a positive outcome for the Company and shareholders. We also have a very strong alognment of the Director interests with our own.

Those 'current' Negotiations with multiple other parties, have been ongoing for some time now and off the back of the previous exclusivity period, for the one specific Company - we don't know exactly when an RNS could be released (obviously), only that BPC are very confident indeed of getting a deal done, being party to said Negotiations.

The Upside scenario here v any dip, given that we're near enough to the placing price, is extremely compelling.....and then moving forward into subsequent & greater expected price appreciation as we progress through the various stages towards drilling & results.

On that basis and as previously verified, I'll be looking to secure as much stock as possible, under these 2p levels.

Thanks for clarifying that Brynjon - also, some very pertinent points made by Tilburn in his 11:36 post.

Some people, quite justifiably in their own minds, are asking why we should expect the RNS confirming the deal with a new Partner, when such a deal hasn't been forthcoming previously.

I think we just need to look at the external factors impacting on conclusion of said Negotiations, as clearly referenced to in the recent RNSs, to be very Confident of a deal to be forthcoming soon.

Everything is now aligning for BPC to finally deliver, hence why I increased my holding level by about 30% today.....and looking to add further in the next few days.

I believe now, it's a more a case of WHEN rather than IF, hence will look to maximise my returns with stakebuilding at these levels below 2p (and near enough the Placing price).

Farm in RNS will see him loaded enough without any pay rise, given the amount of stock he's acquiring in lieu of Pay - interesting times indeed!

He's still confident enough to secure as much stock as possible in lieu of a significant part of his Salary - the Deal will get done imho and sooner rather than later now!

Bought more stock this morning & building up my holding now, especially given the reference price from the recent placing.

New stock bought at 1.68p, which is close enough, so pleased with that.

Now we await the RNS off the current negotiations taking place.

Make your own choices to invest or not - when fundings all sorted out with very high COS on targeted appraisal wells, its a 'no brainer' as far as an O& G investment, imho.
