I recommend anyone interested in Happy's motives being here on TLW bb to read his ramping/deramping of the shares he has 'an interest in'. It's quite transparent. As he says, we should listen to everyone.

Odey reduced by 0.11% yesterday. Hopefully more will follow suit at these lower prices

When oil was in 90's just a month ago, some in the market mocked the US when they indicated they wanted WTI at $70 before starting to replenish their SPR. The recent relaxing of covid restrictions in China and week on week crude draw down should have sent oil North, they didn't. There are powerful forces in play. Trade or patience are the only options for us mere mortals

Given a recent low of 35.7, clearly the SP can go much lower! Significant buys to outweigh shorter volumes, or positive RNS on Kenya/Ghana seems only way trend will be reversed, as a positive move in oil price is clearly not enough.

It's to be hoped the new CFO has a strategy for dealing with the shorters; their action seems incessant

Lots of(understandable) poster negativity here recently. That said, oil price has fallen 20% last couple of weeks, Tullow(and other oilies) have trended down with it. Throw in some increased opportune shorting for Tullow and the SP fall,in absence of news,is not unwarranted. As has been pointed out in earlier posts today there are 2 diametrically opposed views in market where POO is going. Fingers crossed its North not South

Pictet continue to increase their short position, another 0.12%, that's 3 times in last 2 weeks. Explains relentless push down recently. Looks like we will be going sub 40 again if news vacuum continues

...And some are delusional as to what he is expected to achieve. He has delivered on everything he promised in business updates. Uninspiring perhaps, but he has done what he said he would.

I check the ADVN board a few times a day. Not had any problems, including this morning

Our recent shorter arrival has reduced from 0.51 to 0.48%. Let's hope the trend continues

American Hedge fund Point72, opened 0.51% recently, that's about 7M shares. Suggests most of move in last few days is related. They do,because they can.

Point72 Asset Management at 0.51%, not clear what they held before they crossed 0.5% threshold to appear on short list below. Seem to be new to Tullow. Not very welcome news

I for one am pleased merger is off. The impact of merging 2 diverse companies, wrt the assets they hold, worried me in terms of the impact on dilution. I understand the stand alone Tullow plan and have confidence in it. Onwards we go
