It is a very strange behaviour for sure. All the positive news and we are held at virtually the same price now for weeks/months. Whilst you shouldn't trade on instinct solely, it feels like pressure is building for a big surge. Large upside volatility in the covid sector, deals at huge premiums on takeovers, and yet we sit dead flat at a low mcap, remarkable. When something seems this odd then something is clearly going on in the background. When it moves I suspect we will see a huge move up, and that pent up demand is released.

Added a little this morning. Fundamentals improving every day, market expanding every day. MCAP so cheap on a peer comparison as to be frankly unbelieveable. I'll have a bit more thankyou kindly.

You have to wonder why we haven't been bought out yet given what peers are selling for compared to NCYT. This mcap is a no brainer buy. Cheapest diagnostic player by a long way, question is why it hasn't been approached yet....

I think alot of the negative posts are people holding being frustrated with how low the share price is versus where it should be relative to fundamentals (although some are clearly aimed at trying to get a lower entry, and I filter those pretty quickly). Fundamentals always shine through eventually, but there are periods where prices defy fundamentals such as now. Those periods are the best times to take positions as you can get in below fair value. Of course the reverse is true for things that are overhyped. But given NCYT's rapidly expanding cash pile, and its industry leading business that other companies can only dream about, it is only a matter of time before we reap the rewards. How high will it go, no one knows. More contracts, more sales, more long term market conditions and the sky is the limit. For me this year £14-16 is fair, anything more will need a clear strategy update.

I can only speak from personal experience. The trades that are done in error are then queried by the party on the rough end of it, and they will get voided by the exchange as they are not done at market rates (not sure of tolerance levels, but 15% above or below is too far from bid offers to be allowed to stand). Otherwise you'd get people manipulating prices constantly on every share. There are mechanisms to correct these trades made in error.

I wouldn't use that as a meaningful date, it's just a place holder. They just answer more quickly or more slowly depending on whats going on in the background. Pretty pointless exercise having official timings on responses if they simply extend them at will.

It will have been done in error and will be voided later. Trades cant be done so far above or below the market as they are obviously mistakes and will get voided. Happens in most trading markets. For example you could mistakenly put in a buy order at £100 and of course someone will sell to you, but its not the market price so the LSE will be forced to make it null and void.

You could look at virtually any covid / diagnostic company and NCYT would look vastly undervalued in comparison. Completely baffling, but these discrepancies rarely last long. Either the share price rises or it gets taken over, I'd prefer the former.

I've never known a period of holding any share to be such a negative grind as it is this year with NCYT. Just no spark to it at all. We desperately need an RNS, be that operational update, or a sales/contract update. We just need something to shock us out of this miserablely low range we are being held in. No one is making money here, private or institutional investors, or even the directors.

But given they are still supplying the NHS (some one correct me if I am wrong), beyond the contract end date. that implies they do already have a contract, and yet it is not being released to the market. Interested in views on that. My take is they have a contract but haven't updated the market yet, but why?

The most annoying thing about this price decline and stagnation, is the opportunity cost. Everything else is posting good gains, some temp some sustained, but there's money to be made. Here we all await our time in the sun, which is long over due. It has been a woeful year for the NCYT share price, and it is time we started to see some gains for a change. We've sat through this battering, time to repay those of us who have kept faith. How long can they not give us any info. The old NHS contract expired 2 weeks ago, no update, we are in april, no update on 2021 sales yet, no update on Q16 And Q32 deployment and demand. Basically there is nothing but pure speculation, and social media sleuthing. It is way past time they updated us on their plans, way way past time.

Whilst I agree with your contract comment, the problem is we have no guidance on sales. we could be selling billions, but we have no idea. Until NCYT take it upon themselves to fulfill their duty to shareholders and provide us with info on the company we are invested in we will go nowhere. The price is flat because we just simply dont know what they are doing. They can release all the fancy videos, hire hundreds of people, and apply for as many patents as they like, but until they give us some numbers and some forward guidance we are just going to tread water.

but you are right in that the low price should encourage more vuying. It will next week as retail investors pile in on the new tax year ISA pots.

Because any time it gets any momentum the MM's drop it back so there's no point for traders to get involved, not until it breaks out. Of course by the time it does they've missed out on some upside, but these MM games of ups and downs in a relatrively tight range dissuades alot of interest.

They were traded in the brief auction. it happens sometimes. If you have an order 'at best price' and you are in an auction you can get done at the high end auction price. Unusual, but it happens. They are genuine trades done this morning.

Looks like an auction, but saw a few trades going through towards that high end ask. That would have caught a few short stop levels out I suspect. Interesting, don't see that often

These same coversations come up every day it's not going up. We all know the score, and yet we are all invested, so lets stop moaning about it. It is what it is, now lets just focus on what is coming and what future success NCYT will achieve.
