Where do you want me to start in answer to that... We are all awaiting numbers, which we will get latest end April. We are also all awaiting contract details which are due any day. To suggest we get rid of the guy who has turned it from a penny company to a potentially multi billion pound company is absolutely ludicrous. Think about what you are posting before posting it, that's just the height of stupidity. Have some f'ing patience, tired of hearing all the whinging on here. Hold and make money, or sell and don't, completely up to all of us to make our own choice on that.

As mentioned earlier, the start of the last tax year saw NCYT go up 3x in a couple of weeks. So I wouldn't hold your breath expecting to get it cheaper...

Back to Novacyt. Whilst we are in a quiet period, end financial year. Bear in mind we are in a new ISA tax year the day we come back after easter weekend. Last year we saw a trebling of value in the space of 2 weeks on the back of the new financial year starting. Combine that with expected april contracts/financials and I suspect April is going to finally be the start of our anticipated rally, and it will likely be a very good one.

I dont think its a case of being second in line, its being the second largest supplying. Many players will get contracts, ncyt will be one, likely one of the largest again. Question is how large, and what time frame. Theyve recruited for lots of staff to deal with the nhs so it's already been agreed, barring the rns. Lack of certainty keeps some on the sidelines, but once that certainty arrives in the form of an rns it will already be too late to have bought in at such low prices.

That's why you dont chase rainbows and instead should stick to where the money is being made. We earn 3x more in 1 week than GDRs income in a whole year. When we rerate its going to be stellar.

Dont misunderstand me, I am not angry so much as frustrated and disappointed in how they have managed it. It's a superb company which is being held back solely by company policy on communication. Eventually even poor comms wont be able to stop fundamentals shining through. Get it sorted and we set new highs

You don't wait until april of the year you are guiding on, or at leats you shouldn't if you want to be taken seriously by investors... It's not covid specific either as Roche etc all gave guidance (and excellent forward gyuidance at that). It was only NCYT who chose not to, that was self inflicted harm. We will get a contract update in coming days/weeks which will obviously hugely re-rate us, and we will all be smiling that day. But the operational/financial guidance are too late, the opportunity to use that as a platform to make NCYT a midcap has now gone. We now rely solely on new contract news, or an out of the blue development. This isn't a neagtive post, I still see NCYT being £14-16 in coming months, but my gripe is we could easily have already been there and using that as the base.

It's like having the talent of Lionel Messi, but telling your agent not to allow scouts in to watch you playing in the sunday leagues. I want my talent to be recognised by the 10 people watching me on the sunday league pitch behind the dog and duck, not by some rich millianire scouts.... School boy stuff, and the annoying thing is that it is not improving.

They are by far the best diagnostics company out there, and are truely superb at leading the field. However as good as they are at that, multiply that by ten and that is how bad they are at promoting themselves and unlocking value. I am beginning to wonder if they will simply fail at this, and it may well be in the best interest for a takeover which unlocks the value, as they are unable to themselves.

Well mine are sat happily in the ISA, and will remain so regardless of day to day moves. I can wait for future guidance as long as it takes, but we are approaching april 2021 and we don't even have the slightest guidance on the current years sales/plan/contract update. Maybe we will get 2021 guidance in Jan 2022... NDA's aside it makes me angry how they are manging the information flow to investors. We should be £14-16 a share already, but we are not because they are woeful at communicating their strategy properly. This poor communication is solely responsible for the shareholder damage currently being experienced, and that I hold the company directly responsible for, and the buck stops at the top. They'd better pray it improves or they wont be getting future renumeration packages voted for positively by shareholders.

The frustrating thing (and I agree with you that the contract has already been signed) is that they've recruited all these staff, so have obviously won the contract, but they choose not to inform us yet for whatever reason. You don't hire 60 odd new staff (estimate additional c£5m annual staff costs including liabilities) on a hope and a prayer.

It is however significant to look at how the airlines, travel shares, and industrials are behaving. They've all now broken back down again, which is a sign of a resurgence in covid concerns. New waves in Europe, more lockdowns. More testing folks, lets see when the the market realises that testing is here for the forseeable, then we will get the mother of all rallies. Position yourselves folks, it's coming.
