I don't know about anyone else but I've completely discounted any more central tenders completely. In my mind we simply wont get any, just the govs messing around. I imagine many people are of the same view. There is still obviously a good chance one comes out of the blue, in which case the share price will rocket as no one expects it. It will be an interesting day if one does land for sure.

One positive we might see is a token dividend to shareholders to reward our patience. Ideally along with details of our next acquisition. Maybe a nice 10% divi would go a long way to reflecting the value that is placed in shareholders. Use most cash for acquisitions, but start to pay out a regular divi as well.

Big difference there being sxx had huge debt and needed money to move forward. We have the opposite problem, no debt and looking for good investments with our cash pile. Situations not close to comparable in my view.

That said I've never owned more shares than I do now, I do love a bit of contrarion trading.

If its positive or value adding we don't RNS it. If it's going to kick us in the nuts we RNS it at the most illiquid points of the week for maximum negative impact. It is the Nova way, innovation and shareholder degradation.

Looking forward to hearing 'any' plan he has, never mind medium term. As of today we have no clue what hes planning, and of course selling. Also waiting on these acquisitions that were in the pipeline but havent materialised as yet, assuming we're still doing that, but again, no one knows...

If there is a takeover approach confirmed it will certainly be more than 50% up from this level, 200% plus spike I'd suspect

Wouldnt listen to a word that guy says, he changes his view with the wind. Only this morning he was sitting on the fence. basically its a case of if it goes up buy it, if its flat do nothing, if it drops sell it. Thats sh@te analysis in my book, and yet people love their commentary.

One day I hope i will be in a share that goes up 50% in a day rather than the ther way around. Come on NCYT, you have it in you I know it

Good thing about this drop is that it has created alot of opportunity to trade it and make money. You can buy early doors now and make a good return each day (long only strategy). I personally have even more shares now at a lower average cost by taking a bit of a hit when it starting dropping last week, then loading back up lower. Was painful, but in the long run hope that pays off with an even higher return.

When we get a bit of momentum we will take off. There's lots of people sat on the sidelines waiting to get in, or add (I know of a few investors personally wanting to add more but waiting for it to settle down). Any spark, or positive news and we will see a large rise. Lets light that tinder, bit of fomo

An interesting thought. They've been able to control the spread of these variants reasonably well so far, but I suspect that's mainly due to lockdown. Now people are mixing again, and going to the pub etc, it is going to be much more difficult to prevent these clusters from becoming widespread outbreaks. Of course in that scenario, which company has the ability to test for all variants in any location? You guessed it...

I'm not saying it isn;t possible, personally I expect it to happen as it's just too good value and too good a reputation in the industry. What i am saying is because we move up 3% on any given day doesn't mean we've had a takeover approach! If it goes up 50% then sure, maybe.

Come on now, it's up 3% after dropping 70% this year, hardly screams takeover just yet....

Well I drove back from work and the pubs I passed were packed in the beer gardens, no social distancing, people hugging. Folk never learn. Give it a few months and the DHSC will be banging down NCYT's door and the answer will be a sorry pal you had you chance.

My take is dhsc didn't take all the volume they were contractually committed to, and ncyt are taking legal action to basically take or pay, but we are all unclear. Penalty will be on dhsc in effect

I think posting social media videos with positive sales messages etc is asking for trouble when you've just wiped out the life savings of a big swath of your investors. He needs a positive update and plan releasing ASAP or ncyt will keep getting annihilated on media. Its a problem of their own making, and mostly fair to be hit in my opinion. Has to win back trust he's lost big time

On another note, it's interesting the other covid plays havent pulled back from their high valuations yet. If the DHSC is playing hard ball, and those guys are in a much more price competitive environment, then it stands to reason their realised margins will be much lower than they are hoping for, and potentially volumes lower too. Whilst we are oversold, those guys, particularly the one who shant be named have got a very big downside if things dont work out perfectly for them.

It is indeed an unusual market, but it hasn't stopped the likes of Roche and other covid updates having production and sales estimates included. Anyway, i guess we agree to disagree on that. it holds though (for me), that if they do provide an update on sales forecasts and an operational update on how they see us progressing in coming years, then we will provide a platform for the shareprice and allow it to achieve its fundamental value (whatever that be). We all know its cheap here, but it is the comunication (or lack of detail in said communication) that has put it in this position. It has to improve, we cant get smashed everytime they do an RNS, that just shows something is clearly wrong in how it is being done.
