I mean.... just look at it.... a variety of quite different business models..... the single common denominator is they use airplanes as part of their product.... sell into a wide variance of markets.... yet the prices move as a block with relatively small differences.... and the FCA does SFA. It is become so very obvious now.

News service blaming Austria lockdown and fears will lockdown will spread. This is make or break time. UK has opted to live with covid, a recent campaign by the mask and lockdown lobby was pushed back and case numbers are showing that to have been correct. Now the Europeans need to grab the nettle and not be pressured like the Austrians have and declare no more lockdowns, people have to learn to live with covid just like ALL other communicable diseases. Unfortunately the commission's attitude is to do everything opposite than the UK in some macho display of independence rather than working with allies. Just have to keep fingers crossed common sense prevails and a firm unified message is quickly released by the members of the soviet or by the commission, no more trying to stop the spread of a virus, more living with it.

We await the opening of markets in the States to see if they are spooked. I suspect a bit of a buy-in states side and ending IAG back above 150.

Interesting attempt to spin the story about delisting with some word play by Sky. Read it from a journo that doesn't have a political axe to grind, and it is revealed this is forced on Ryanair by the EU instructing it to be seen to be doing something. A good lesson on taking a 360 and not being to myopic and biased about what angle you are being sold.

yeah right, retail investor and you got a 145 price. Unless you are a crest trader your retail broker would have got you a quote something like 148 when the ask was 145. Retail accounts never get quotes that look like the market prices.

A grand I can easily lose without any consequence. This is a very risky share so playing some funny money just for the thrill of the gamble. There is a probability these lows are due to a major sovereign fund or pension fund clearing out on the sector. Sudden dips like this without any obvious news story suddenly recover when the dump has been cleared and the mm can return back to the predump level - which for IAG would be around 153 which is where the geometric progression was tending to.

Well I've gambled a grand on this rebounding into Monday, with a bit of luck I'll be a bargain bucket or two richer on Monday.

But.... Jet2 is holding up.

Here's a thought, been expecting volatility for day trading. Have the iis kicked it off? There are some spook stories out there, but to qualify a drop this big? Are we going to see a 5% rebound tomorrow????????????????????

I'm beginning to wonder how artificial this is. We've seen it before a number of times in this sector. Maybe a sub 150 punt with IAG is not such a bad idea. I mean, how much further can it fall? Big risk with a red flag over the share, but this is sector wide and not specific to IAG, so..... have a punt???
