When is there issue due? The dilution last July was fully underwritten by one institution and it seemed like others were willing to subscribe. The big tanking happened when they announced the 3rd Q numbers.

Oops. My Hargreaves L feed came up with a rogue price somehow at £9.26. No idea how that happened.

Like Topo, I am in for the long haul. Now in positive (personally jittery, though!) territory by around 5%. Long may it continue.

I understand that as debt is re-financed it is on better terms, i.e. lower, fixed rates so that may enable earlier repayment.

A Angus, I would suggest you go for the maximum cabin grade you can afford. Like the other regular cruisers on here we would always want our own balcony because, especially in warmer climes, it gives you a space you can retreat to.

There’s always a basic 12% differential to the US price as UK shares are non-voting. Then, if you apply the exchange rate you will get roughly the right price. That’s what I was told…..

I guess it is easy to underestimate because on each cruise we have been on, the coffee morning does raise four figures - and that is Arcadia/Aurora as we don’t do the bigger ships.

Looking forward to next trip in May. I see they will now let you book excursions online before you have paid the full cost.

Is that really how the American market works? The cruise lines would be mad to allow that without penalty. Besides, the cash flow reported seems to counter that.

Allowing that kind of behaviour would decimate the business.

I also have pretty bad motion sickness but most cruise ships are pretty steady and, when not, Avomine is my go to anti-sickness medicine. NB no connection other than as satisfied non-pucker.
