Dining on Arvia and Iona is all Freedom Dining. They have so many venues! Speciality dining needs to be booked. How does everyone get on with the Wi-Fi system for booking things? Took us a day or two to get used to it on Arcadia. Also use it to keep track of on board account as cannot do that through the TV.

You have until three weeks before departure. Ring up and ask for “Shareholder benefits”. You’ll have to supply proof of your holding - which has to be a minimum of 100 shares. If I remember rightly, they have to be in your name or for your benefit.

It actually closed up just under 1%. Be thankful for small gains. Fordy made a very good call. Dropped over 5% after he sold.

Thank you all for the info. Must’ve misread something somewhere. We do only one cruise per year, usually, and it will be Arcadia. Talk about stuck in a rut….. Maybe one day we shall try another, perhaps one of the new ones. I have been told to avoid Deck 8 as tge Prom deck can see directly into your cabin?

I just wonder how long they will keep Arcadia going. She was into service in 1985, so coming up 40 years old. Still very well appointed and comfortable, plus, NO KIDS! Other than me, of course.

Hi Topo, not being pessimistic - for a change! - it seems like it’s the usual reaction. I think, like you say, there are macro issues at play.

Just made final payment on Arcadia cruise to Western Med in May. Looking forward to that now.

Saw a prog the other day on All-inclusive hols in Benidorm and how they manage things, including F&B purchasing, entertainment etc. Must be similar for cruise ships although they have to source stuff from different places. One point of interest was that they very much encourage excursions as it means less everything required in the hotel.

Same on the ships?
