It looked like we might be heading for £9 but after a 30p increase when NYSE opened I hope it holds around £8.90 then pushes on later.

I suppose the volatility helps the day-traders but happy with small gain for myself.

Could be. Surprised though, because the £ is strengthening against the $ and the € and the FTSE 100 is up, too.

Looks like the spike was an indication of where the price was to go :-)

There was a 15p spike just before lunch. Any ideas anyone?

In my case it would need to be a sight more ‘cos I don’t have so many, but I, too, would settle for 10p. Would pay for a cruise…….

Now down to £8.10…… profit takers? Seems a bit steep for that.

I appreciate that the 50p I would want to invest wouldn’t be taken seriously….

I used to work in Financial Services, insurance, and my wife accused me once of handling the family finances like it was work. Not quite sure even now what she meant but it did make me treat both a bit more carefully!

We seem to clawing our way slowly back.

I see PREM has put on 0.04p!

Sadly, Ken, I don’t think there’s a way for Joe Public to buy debt or I would be in there like something or other because to lowest rate I’ve seen them get is just over 10%.

Just to note, though, when the outlook was nothing like so rosy, one year ago, the price was £16. It will be some time before it gets back to those dizzy heights.

BTW, met someone on our last cruise who bought in at £48……. He seemed pretty stoical about it. I think he just had the 100 minimum for extra OBC. Take while to recoup his money that way.

I have a bit in PREM already bought at 0.56. They have just moved into positive territory at 0.58!

Yes, we do, and have been watching her series. Will be planning what to do and see in places like Cadiz - lovely small city - Barcelona -equally lovely but large, Valencia, Genoa, Rome, Villefranche and Corsica - never been to either of these. Really looking forward to it.

Sorry if I sound curmudgeonly - like I said, more bewildered than anything else, with suspicions of manipulation, which I know Topo shares.

I am more bewildered than anything else. Always said I am in for the long haul. With so many shares in issue, I am just surprised by the volatility.

What I think I need to do is not look at the price for a week. Cannot resist, though…..

That is well over £1 down in just over a week.

But yet another 20p off……

I am more convinced than ever that there is manipulation at work, although by whom and how is inexplicable.

With another nice big drop to get us going. WTF is going on?
