You say that, Neversell, but we have seen a £3 drop in the space of two weeks so no reason that it cannot happen the other way, although I would certainly agree that it’s more likely to go up in fits and starts. Personally I can see this at £15 by 31/12 after they report full year numbers.

Volatility is this share’s obvious quality!

Bot’s forecast is £25 - £30 by Dec. 2026. No reason to disagree with that.

Carnival have already stated more than once that they are on track to achieve “investment grade status” in 2026 so that should mean restoration of the dividend, too, as well as significant debt reduction.

The plunge in the SP does make some, but only some, sense in the light of the jobs and manufacturing numbers from the US but historically that hasn’t stopped people buying cruises. I think the bigger factor is the Middle East. Pressure of all kinds is building there although no cruises currently have such places on their itineraries. Can’t do anything about them, anyway.

I am so glad that Bot didn't delegate to me after my disastrous performance. Like CWWX I am a long term holder (although I am sure his is much bigger than mine) and my average is £7.95.

Probably because only the CUK shares count for Market Cap here. The overwhelming majority of shares are in CCL on the NYSE.

Welcome to the world of CCL Polishcap! There is never, never, any logical explanation of the share price movement! At least, not one that comes close to being logical.

We are now well below the price pre-results which were stonking.

Compare to NatWest who also produced results that exceeded expectations on EVERY metric known to man and I guess the abandoned sale of HMG shares helped. Although why Rachel R has done that doesn’t make any sense.

Cruise was excellent, thank you. P & O upped their game (they had to) but it didn’t stop the moaners! Why do people go on a cruise then complain about the ports of call? Quite unbelievable.

Bot, you have all sympathy. Tooth problems are a continuous anxiety and anger inducing difficulty that is non-ignorable, closely followed by hip problems.

We had a super cruise, marred only by getting some three-day virus near the start but the staff were really, really helpful and genuinely caring, especially our butler.

CWWX, ignore Bot and all the naysayers! I remember this going to £4.95 when there was no justification. Same thing now. Gritted teeth, hanging on by fingernails, whatever.

It is the usual pattern at 14:30 as NYSE opens. It must be the Algo’s or Mm’s or both. How any share can be this volatile on such small trading volumes is beyond me, so - just hang in there my friend. It will come good. Even Bot thinks so!
