PS to respond to the prices bit, I am very fortunate that I bought in at £7.95 average so am currently 57% up. It is only a small block, though!

Topo, I can’t buy stock on other exchanges through HL.

How can it be done - there’s the worry of extra fees, exchange rates and lead times etc. At least on UK stocks the transaction is instantaneous after your 15 seconds of thinking time expire!

Roll on Thursday - although the weather is not looking up to much. Not usually a problem if travelling south but we’re northward bound through the Irish Sea!

Driving through Poole some years ago, I passed a car and trailer with a boat on it. The name of the boat was “No Wuckin’ Fonder”.

At present, I do (second and third words of boat name) what’s goin’ on here. As Bot says, though, it’s almost a usual pattern.

I would second that TOPO. The only time we did complain was our first cruise after COVID. P &O admitted that staff had been moved from Arcadia to Iona so they were short and it showed.

We wrote to Head Office in S’oton, and ended up dealing with a lady in “Executive Correspondence” who clearly had the authority and temperament required. I felt almost guilty by the end of the telephone call - they rang me, btw.

I can only say that Tripadvisor tells a slightly different story, but you could be cynical about that, too.

Really sorry to hear that CWWX, we have been on Iona and despite our prior misgivings, really enjoyed it. Although full, there was plenty of space and kids clubs apparently good.

P & O’s tribute to Queen is “Killer Queen” - also a brilliant show. Not sure they are still doing it. Will find out next week.
