You know full well yesTerday's drop was caused by a non story.

Don't you think if there was anything untoward with Troy the NOMAD would have insisted on an RNS by now and investor relations certainly wouldnt have emailed that Troy's role is purely non exec with JAY.

The interims were as the less giddy but exceptionally positive investors said they would be.

Nothing at all interesting in the interims themselves as they cover an historic time period.

No detail on actual current financials or outlook as it is still too early but plenty of hints that we are making money already.

And a far more compelling picture of the current activities and strategy laid out by Tone.

I sold a few yesterday to hedge against the lack of current numbers but have bought back and some more on this mornings drop as I'm more than happy with the progress

If you look at ONS data you will see that overall online sales have now retraced to the prepandemic growth trajectory.

So the trend is still exactly as it was in 2019 and only likely to increase imho

They confirmed that Troy's role is purely non exec with JAY

More because of what it doesn't say. Seems to me strategic equals acquisition. So what they are really saying is we are making enough money atleast already to more than cover our operational costs.

I wasn't brave enough to take the plunge in the 20s but quite happy with 32p and holding until market cap equals 12 months revenue, at which point i will revisit the investment decision

I also wonder if one of the negative voices, possibly Wolfy, could explain why JAY would need a full time COO when the focus for the next few months is to develop a strategy for exploiting one asset in Greenland

Either Alien are deliberately misleading the market or they genuinely don't see Troy becoming a non exec elsewhere as a big deal. Which it isn't and he already has another couple of non exec positions. My money (literally) is on the latter.

If he had jumped ship, or was giving a significant amount of his time to another business, I believe that the NOMAD would have insisted on some form of RNS by now.

It may well be that the JAY RNS is worded ambiguously, it seems a shoddy piece of work when you read it. For example, Troy is referred to as a director of IOCA but not Alien. It's almost as if JAY don't want to admit he has a full time job!

I've just had this response from investor relations, not bad to respond in an hour or so. I've obviously asked them to clarify the COO bit, with post again if I get another reply
