Been speaking to friends in Suffolk and building has slowed!
One lot on four day week and another on three day all the big houses built and sold , smaller and medium slow.
East mids we are still okay .
Just a heads up
Any other area’s with info much appreciated

The other interesting thing is the trades have increased day by day in a very short time (single figures to doubles) be good see three figures then four!

As self employed and been on price work all my life, I do feel for the pub , restaurant and retail, when you need about 80% capacity to make a profit,
Imagine if you got told you can work but only lay 100 bricks and then that’s it, you would say sod that I’m better off at home.
As you say can’t see construction stopping, but maybe a circuit break in the entertainment industry might be the way forward.

I do believe a lot of the sells were buys, because I put a dummy sell three times and the price I got offered was 2.7.

This could be very interesting, I cannot see many Qs’s helping with this and obviously both parties would have to agree with exceptional costs and changes to the situation.
Also I would imagine there will be teething problems and if you say costains has already put this programme in place.
In my eyes makes costains a bigger risk than the other construction companies!

Costain , can I ask you how this program will help pricing ( when they want the priced fixed) and usually that is couple of years previous.
The only way these firms can make money, that is pricing with a proper profit margin, not 1or2% .

Bought in today £2000 minus charge at 2.5 , I think this might have legs , it may take time but looking at the aussie’s I think we could be onto something.
Volume is low and that’s not good, but with patience and some good news it could all turn out well!

Tampers make me laugh , the big oulies are getting hammered everyone is running for cover , probable lockdown round the corner and they somehow think ntog are going to turn it around!
They couldn’t make a profit when it was over $100 a barrel

Makes me laugh people trying to ramp this ( new money coming in, can’t keep this down to cheap,etc etc)
13 trades today who are you trying to kid , makes me sick trying to fool any new bait.
As I have always said there is enough money out there for all of us, don’t rob unsuspecting new comers with there savings!
