You are right all sites are busy and I think most of the bad trading statements will have passed.
Next quarter results should make better reading, hopefully the pending recession won’t be to bad and to long .
Pay has gone back up to pre covid, so that shows there is a shortage of trades.
Also more barrons on the blower looking for men .
So good all round at the moment.

Well pleased for you all , reading what they are all writing about, is it some fund going to invest 0.44% of their fund into buying up Ggp shares starting next week? Is that correct.
As for me I do kick myself sometimes, but I did get burnt pretty bad by Aim and all the bull****e pump and dumpers , the crooked CEO’s with there utube type interviews on back room investment programmes.
Very easy to get caught up in the euphoria of multi baggers and before you know it , it is dropping like a brick.
I did listen to you on ncyt got in a while ago, went on that chat site and the ****e coming from some of the posters reminded me why I left Aim alone !
I did make a nice return (thanks for that) and I might have a look on Monday 1st thing and if I get a decent price maybe have a dabble.
But looks like I could have missed my chance , you made a good move buying more at 14.2 was it .
Anyway well done and you can buy lloyds out soon!

I expect a rerate this week about 20p by Wednesday hopefully more, based on the fact gfrd got all there sh.. out before the sale so they have a clean slate.
All the construction firms have record order books , so no need to under cut each other!
Investors have got cash sitting there waiting to invest, they can’t touch banks, holiday companies, entertainment, and retail (except online) and manufacturing all to risky in my view.
With a recession looming construction and mining seem to be the turn to sectors, boris announced a massive housing boost of affordable and social £180 billion if I remember right.
On top of that HS2 and all the other infrastructure, also renovation of all the offices and shops which will be left empty!
The future looks good in my opinion!
But please Bod price the jobs right and get rid off this 1-2% profit margins psn are at 30% take note they have sh.. loads of cash!

One thing I will say and I think we are all in agreement, is that when they announce they have a vaccine for Covid all shares will fly , how much up depends on the sector and nobody wants to be out that day!

I think the banks will be keen to give mortgages, look at the state of them they need to earn money and houses are as the saying goes!

Bought in day before vistry results, expecting a bit of bounce! ( didn’t happen lol) still think I got a decent price long term.
The next two-three months are going to be crucial to how low this can go , although everyone is building and upbeat, sales going through and reservations at a high.
One eye is on the redundancies and anyone who is ignoring this will get hurt!
Still got a pot to top up so can average down easy enough!
On the bright side if you are long term good prices all round.

Just topped up, this is getting a bit scary, they still must have 140 mill in the bank.
Surely they can’t of f..... this up so early, can they?
They have to show profit on 16th , for there own sake, even if they have to fuddle the figures, ( would say fiddle but that’s illegal).

Both have good points and bad as all of the Hbs.
Nobody can doubt persimmons profit margin of 30% will always big the biggest lure, outplays everything else to 90% of shareholders.
Vistry I believe is a different HB altogether now , when they bought lindens from gfrd it wasn’t the private housing side they had in mind.
It was the regeneration and HA side bovis were after, making them possibly more recession resilient than other Hbs!
Just my opinion and the Rns seemed quite upbeat

I have pretty much my mind up on the purchase of RR .
Thank you for your view and it’s pretty much in line with mine , now just another question for anyone with engineering knowledge!
Would the engine’s of the planes sitting dormant have to be serviced before they can take off again?
Who would have to service them ?
Just opinions or facts either can be used thanks in advance!

Thanks for the response, I know that there are loses and debts been disclosed.
It seems to me every company is using this period to offload there debts and how badly they have been running there companies.
It’s not like they are start up companies or they have been living week to week.
These companies have been going for years, making profit year after year and on top of this the government having been paying there wages for last six months.
So to me there is a lot of Bs in these trading statements.
Long term can’t see Rolls-royce going under, quite a exclusive area to be working in , but anyway thanks for your response.

Tomorrow will be very interesting (bdev) results, if Tw goes down to 113 or sub , negativity hasn’t been priced in!
If it holds its ground this could be the bottom.

You are right there Londoner, it is about the profit margin and when I heard last year a director said we work on a 1% profit margin, I thought this is suicidal.
The housing side lindens had been supporting the company!
Now gfrd are on there own like kier costains and others,
With the amount of work about and promised they should of got there heads together and be pricing at 5-10% profit margin.
Otherwise they will be going under, the writings there look at carrillion and interserve.
Hb’s are working on or around 20% profit margin, psn just announced 30% p/m.
Investors look at this!
Let’s hope they start pricing right!
