I was messing about while my misses was getting ready and had a dabble at £4K @ 21.5p , 4.25pm , Dee it dropped today and yesterday so looked for a quick couple pence return.

Yes you get some level headed chat on hear , some you might not like to hear sometimes (especially when you are invested in at higher price and it’s still going down)
But hey ho that’s shares, this was at a poundish when the first big shut down happend, I got in there and next day cashed out over 10% up!
It did still carry on rising, but who’s to say this time around.
Too much sh.. to hit the fan , long term great price!
Short term redundancies, brexit and possibility it two week shut down.
Bottom who knows, but there are some out there calling this morbid talk and deramping.
It’s life and the vaccine will be out soon, already passed law on claiming for side affects, so should see jump on that news.

If an institution or pension started buying up , it will be laughing yesterday just over 1.1m trades so for a £1m you could of bought 1% of the company.

Reading the Rns further down it says we have £95m outstanding of work’s done, they are seeking legal advice and some work has been resolved by adjudication!

I get the feeling they might be trying to use Covid as an excuse.
In the construction industry 90% of the employees are self employed or agency, now there was a lot of labour out there cheaper than normal, persimmons took advantage of that on the house builders side!
Let’s hope this lot did rather than gardening and sipping pimms

If you read costains last trading statement they made a small profit, now you are saying we are in for a loss !
When most construction sites carried on all the through Covid, it was in the papers , people complaining how come they can work!
On top of that in the last statement they said that they took advantage of the government grant and there would be no divi!
I cannot see massive losses on that info can you?
But hey I am not as bright or dishonest as the people in charge of the books .
I predict £200 m + in bank tomorrow or else!

Looking at trading over the last month about 0.5% of shares trading each day (approx) not many really, just being walked down!

We do learn every day, look at the institutions who punted in at 145 for land purchase (500m) they along with the PI’s must be pulling there hair out!
I bought at 116 so not to bad and if goes below a pound have top up pot .
Bamps didn’t go into Ggp Monday, had a long think about it, in three shares and got 50% cash For a possible downturn.
Wrong move again Hey ho I still have my day job:))))

Interesting article in the Sunday times on about first time buyers being starved of mortgages.
Due to latest spike of buyers being second or more buyers taking advantage of the stamp duty , either they are upgrading or moving to the country.
Good news for HB’s when it settles there will still be a starved market of first time buyers!
So in my view there’s still a queue waiting for property!
On the down side all the news from now till next lot of trading statements will be bad , f....... up brexit and redundancies weekly, only possibly bit of good news in the near future is a vaccine.
So which way it goes probably down maybe to a pound, hopefully up, but long term ie pension good time to buy!

Didn’t give much out but worth a try.
Food for thought if you were a finance company and a firm come to you and said can I borrow 10 mill.
You show them your battle plan and there in bold letters is we work on a 1% profit margin, aiming for 2% next year, what do you think the answer would be ?
F...o.. springs to mind so how come they are able to get the money ( not on about this one ) the others with no capital!

I to would like to see them pricing properly with a min of 5% but would like to see them aiming for 10-15%!
Then any issues or problems there’s the cushion, with the amount of work out there and less and less companies to do the work, should be easy.
No reason to buy work in my opinion!
It will be very interesting Wednesday if the books look sh..e then I can see an exodus !
So I think they will look okay even if they have to tweak them and maybe hold back payments, bring forward money due.
Would be very surprised if they show less than 140 m in the bank.

Bottom line is as of 30th June it has £190 million in cash , average over six months £140 m and a market cap of £90 odd mill .
Don’t need a calculator to work out this is cheap,
Wednesday will give us a pointer and couldn’t imagine the board f....... this up so early in effectively a new company.
