I think the share movement shows what people think of a no deal brexit!
Interesting read in the guardian by hesletine yesterday about the new trade deals Britain has done with the other countries.
Exactly the same as what we had whilst in the EU !
Strange that we want to get out of something to do the same as before, is this stupid or is it me?

Personally I think it’s a good time to be put in front of the select committee ( if any time is a good time) they can’t be to hard.
Unemployment rising
Brexit uncertainty
Covid
Companies folding left right and centre
Would they want to see another company go abroad, don’t think so !

I cannot understand the benefits of leaving the EU , if you want to negotiate trade deals yourself then surely if you tell them what you think is good, then if your trade deal is that good then I would imagine the rest of the EU would go along with it and then tell the (yanks for example ) this is what deal we want.
Surely you are better negotiating with the support of many, than on your own .
The strong will always beat the weak, the many will always beat the few .

All going well here, out of Ggp 36.5p bit of a mistake maybe but traded it a few times at 22~23.5 level doubled my money so happy with that.
Still have small holding here long term , sold a chunk at 158
So happy at the moment glen trading good and in boohoo,
Only one letting me down is gfrd but should come good.
How about you back in housing and still in hydrogen.

My missus went shopping yesterday tier three area, she said it was horrible stuck outside waiting and then when she wanted a break a drink and a bite to eat all closed.
She won’t be going to town this side of Christmas again.
How many others are going to be like that .

I believe the next few years there will be so much building there won’t be the man power to handle it!
I only hope when pricing they have taken this into account, because they will be paying through the nose for labour.

Hi Steve as long as can remember the office middle management have always been trying to nick a few quid of the workers .
In this instance it maybe there might be a cull in middle management on its way and this action could be them trying to justify there jobs.
When bovis took over lindens there was a cull there , so this could be a follow on .
But Hb sides of construction firms have been supporting the construction side for years!
Why because they work on about 20% profit and all price work!
Construction have been losing money because most workers are on hourly rate and then overtime.
Dos’nt pay .
Looks like a cull in the office to me!

Not to sure where you heard about the tradesmen being restricted to £750 a week, but most tradesmen are on price so I can’t see where they get that from?
Unless they are going to take people on the cards , then maybe.
I am very interested in this info .

When the Mre results come out on hav i would imagine there would be the written one for us (conservative one) and the verbal one for Newcrest and Ggp ( potentials and best scenario).
Now let’s say they are great, how quickly do you think the mining could begin.
I ask this because at the moment copper prices are high and stockpiles are low , gold prices good and both look like they will be staying there for a while.
Especially with this electric revolution going on.
Apologies of subject but this would be lost on the other board.
Bloods sold six last week and we sold four, so sales still good( not looking good for that unemployment predictions) hopefully priced in .

Yes still about, when lse was messing about and most share chat pages were down a couple of weeks ago, I got erased so after a few days I opened a new account under benrumpson2 and that got erased !
So sent them a message and now I’m back!
Building flat out Christmas hand overs and selling well in East Midlands, also spoke to family and friends in Suffolk all busy .
I’ve had a good few weeks Glencore doing well, gfrd picked up , Tw doing great, boohoo expecting a bit more and I have a bit in Ggp, quite there!
Did look at the chat page this morning a lot of *****ing going on what’s that all about ?
