I’m not having a dig at you but this special divi was crap!
Let’s say you had 10000 shares and sold them before divi date you could easily got £2.10 a share, that’s £21000.
Buy back 10000 today at£2 that’s £20000 a profit of 1k approximately.
Now with this special divi you now have 8460 shares at£2. =£16920
*£3200 divi
=£20120
Who’s better off dos’nt make good reading

Yes I agree they are in a great position financially and with that tribunal money , will be a game changer and proud of the board for not letting it go.
I think the Indians will drag it out personally and maybe a compromise of the final amount may well happen, we shall see!
The world opening up in a couple of months statement is my take on when the international flights start to get back normal and lockdowns should start to ease world wide .
Just my opinion and can change daily as we have seen

Your explanation will probably happen and I hope it does and maybe I lost it a bit and sold out of anger.
But I don’t like being given something with the right hand and with the left hand have it taken away.
But that’s in the past now and I put the money into house builders, trading statements this week and end of year coming up, should all make good reading.
In a couple of months I hope to get back in here,as you say there’s 16% less shares now and the world hopefully should open up.
I don’t think these are a bad board and as I say maybe I lost it a bit.

I did say before rather than this share buy back, special divi, politician’s divi ( I’m all right jack sod the little investors) special divi.whatever you want to call it.
The money would have been better used in the purchase of another company or assets.
There’s a lot of companies on there knees and enquest would be a good one.
That’s another reason I bailed could of been better used that money, with the world on the brink of opening up , hydropower at its early stages, electric won’t be able to keep with demand, petroleum will be the go to for at least 20-50 years I would guess.

Sold out of here last week, unfortunately couldn’t see the benefits of the special divi for us small investors.
I will be back in the near future when the world opens up and oil is more in demand!

I do look on Ggp site every now and then, see your name mentioned, today someone started a rumour you sold out.
Made me laugh, wouldn’t blame you or Tom and some of the early bird’s ( must be some life changing earnings there).
But me had a great year financially, lot of good tradings day and long term.
Work wise flat out, normally I like my winter holiday, was meant to go to OZ in feb all cancelled.
Long winter on the building site for me this year.
Surprisingly house sales still going strong and I think the house builders will be supported by the government.
Boris last throw of the dice, if this goes under the country will be knackered for a long while.
Haven’t heard much of Nige either I hope he is well !

Just a couple of questions CNE have a market cap o £1.2 billion and produce 23000 barrels a day at roughly $17-18 a barrel.
Now Ntog have a market cap of £2.4 m which is roughly 5000 times less than Cne.
How many barrels are Ntog producing and at what cost?
These are the facts people need to look at before investing.
As for the Uae it costs next to nothing to produce and they can pump millions of barrels per day!
That’s your competition!
So don’t Chuck your hard earned money away on rampers and derampers

With market conditions the way they are surely the £188m could be used better!
There’s companies out there on there knees, you could even buyout enquest there market cap isn’t much more than that!
There’s bargains out there waiting to be snapped up!
Come on the money can be better used than a buy back

I think I would rather them use the money towards buying something or supporting what they have.
Unclear what the benefits of this complex divi is, I know the chaps on Tesco site not happy!

So it just looks like they have used the money for share buybacks and eliminated the shares!
