Gtanner's summary is right. Your conclusion is also right.
What you have to realise is that we had an influx of bitcoin brigade madly ramping when Bitcoin went up (presumably as this has blockchain links). In truth this company has nothing to do with bitcoin (other than being in the wider sector). Now people who jumped in too quickly have all unhappily jumped back out again (probably at a loss).
Those of us who are LTH because of the long term prospects for blockchain technology are probably just as unhappy, but for a different reason: we're all still reeling from the utter drivel of an RNS which basically sounded like it was written by Bill and Ted with nothing more to worry about than topping up their pizza and weed fund with occasional share issues.

Sorry maqsood7, you're maths is wrong, you need to back down - your language is very poor to Electra197 who is correct.

Revenue for ADVFN is £4.23M NOT OBC - you need to go back, read to the bottom of the half yearly report.
OBC have a stake in ADVFN hence the note....

Income for OBC on the 6 monthly report is £56k

There's something larger happening today with smallcap investors - dunno if it's the rise in Oil and bond yields today, or a risk averse sentiment, but everything I own in the smallcap market that's NOT oil based is tanking today.

This is a tough company to call.
Very low income, low fundamentals on its own 2 feet for now. Looking down the line (years) it has a great opportunity to get a slice of the long term future of blockchain, but therefore a long term hold on that basis.
In the mean time it keeps getting rabidly ramped as part of the wider "crypto" sector and moves up and down with Bitcoin. Even with an RNS like this morning's....

There's an old saying
"If you have nothing useful to say, keep your mouth shut."
It applies to corporate waffle like this RNS. Really does make this company look like a couple of hippies working out of a garage......

I was just making a light hearted point that with such a tiny market cap even a small investment is worth 0.1% of the whole company.
If I'd invested the same cash at 6p a share I'd own nearly 1% of the company!!
It's just maths mate?

Another 3.5k shares here at just over 70p on top of yesterday's 2 top ups.

I did top up twice today, but at a high 80's average. I mistimed the drop into the 70's too....

I think it's a kind of vague ramp - as in, the market makers are just running the price down to collect shares so they can sell them at a profit....
It makes no sense and is certainly untrue, so pay no heed.

Another ramp to salve the pain of this one.....

I am invested here because despite the lack of commerciality in the past I believe modern tech and prices will make this attempt viable today.
I still recognise the risks and it's fair to air them.
Yes, I'm very confident in hitting some form of oil, it's all about the recoverables.
