MM's don't run risks by hoarding or selling shares for profit for goodness sake. They make money from trade activity regardless of price. The process of setting the bid/ask is automatic and mostly computerised.

Price monitoring extensions occur when a price has moved by more than a threshold, at which point humans intervene to ensure the automated buy sell is correct and to establish how much activity there is on either side of the equation.

Why do so many people on here give the MM's such attention? Do you still believe in a flat earth?

Of course they would. It's all about speed to market though, not speed of test result right now.

Last week we had the 88e brigade telling us to sell out and hop over there....history has judged. Not that I am pleased to see PI's burned, it's happened to the best of us so not an attack on 88e.
What this should do is remind us all not to get excited and lose our heads - DYOR.
This applies right now to this share.

There's a huge amount riding on how fast our test can get commercialised, as the airlines are unable to afford the specified test regime at present.
The COVID scenarios are of course just one string to the bow here, but there's a chance for this to be really lucrative when you see how far we still are from normality.
That said, BRH is of course an investment company so I'm still thinking a sale and divident payout on the test work is still the most likely outcome.

I'm bullish on this share long term, but I also reluctantly accepted there will be ups and downs over the next 3 months. If I could time them I'd be a trader but I'm holding longer term.
We saw this kind of selling before the end of March from TB, It may be this is Freeman's turn having left the business.
I don't have a problem with big sells if I know why the shares were sold - in this case we know TB has invested in a new venture (related or not to BRH).
There's no need to be screaming BUY at every opportunity and looking for signs in the tealeaves that this will be £1 at the close - equally there's no need for the screaming SELL all the time. It's painful and a bit embarrassing to all involved.
There's also no MM conspiracy - we have a big seller so the price will fall short term.
This BB is just a wasteland for common sense.
