I can't see how this relates to BRH activity to be honest. I think it's too far remote to be linked, it's a fresh venture. They are making almost all their workforce redundant according to news 6 days ago (100 out of about 130 staff).

Absolutely nuts how you won't admit you are wrong, but no point continuing to discuss with a block of wood.

I think people miss the reality of the situation here

When would be a good time for TB to sell - clearly NEVER given the response here. He has an asset he wants to sell because he's retiring - he's been selling off in batches multiple times, this is just one batch.
As long as he hasn't mis promoted what assets and products BRH owns then he's not doing anything wrong. Indeed spreading his shares over a wider PI base will help keep the share price honest in the future.
I think given the recorded prices before and after his previous sells he hasn't sold the spike every time.
I also think he'll be selling some more when there's more good news, just as the rest of us can do.

I never said in my post that a change in holding would follow straight away - I said it was a precursor

The RNS is issued to reiterate as of today the total shares in issue. It does not indicate anybody has bought or sold - that was the assumption of the opening post that I wanted to correct.
What these chaps seem to misunderstand is WHY companies have to do this every month....
They do it so shareholders can assess their % voting rights and holdings should they need to make a declaration of a change in holding for example. There is absolutely no rubbish at all in anything I've posted!!!

I pointed out that the RNS wasn't an indicator of anybody selling or not selling which is entirely true. It's a notification of shares in issue if anybody needs to declare a change in holding for example.

I can't see any reference in the late RNS to anybody selling or not selling - the fact they have clarified notification levels for such announcements suggests it is the precursor to a holding announcement.

My interest is in the total volume this week, which ahs been around 8M shares? That's a lot of PI's so makes me think there's a bigger sale happened at year end.

Indeed that's why when a price moves more than a certain % the market suspends so humans can intervene and reset the MM equilibruim.

I don't believe anything - I know. MM is an automated system to balance buy and sell orders. The spread has been fixed at +/- 1p for 3 days now.
The price movement is because of greater selling pressure.
MM's don't hoard shares (and therefore risk) to make a profit on sale.

As all LTH's I hope so. I still want to know who has been offloading.

The MM's are semi automated systems to match bid and ask - it's the people buying and selling what move the price, sorry if that doesn't fit your narrative

The MM's role it to arbitrate the bid and ask - they don't force people to buy or sell - they don't care what the price is.
The price is falling because of selling pressure - that means a tidal wave of small investors or one big one (or both) are outweighing buyers right now.
MM's don't take the share anywhere unless they widen the spread - the spread hasn't changed in the last 3 days.
