I understand the contrarian argument Ddubya but the suffering inflicted on this company and its shareholders is unforgivable. It does make you wonder what a cash rich Nano, licensing deal with Samsung in the bag, would’ve ventured into and achieved. BT has done a wonderful job in keeping Nano lean and mean but undoubtedly some RandD projects have probably been mothballed as a direct result of Samsung’s shenanigans. It’s put the company back 10 years in my view.

It’s actually really hard to quantify the damage done to this company by Samsung. Even a colossal settlement won’t atone for the moral wrong that’s been done here. I just hope we get justice.

Either way the road ahead looks sunny. It would be a fitting chapter in the narrative to have the Samsung settlement kick start the rejuvenation of Nano. I’m holding and will add when another of my shares (hopefully bears fruit) I see the potential for many multiples of 22 or so pence in the next decade…

Echo those sentiments boyg. Was not expecting a bludgeoning today. Never fails to surprise me this share! As others have alluded to, nothing material to worry about if results is the endgame. To address Andybe’s point this share has never struck me as ‘leaky’ the guys and girls over at SNG run a tight ship so very much doubt bad news is coming down the pipe.

BTB, I’m staggered you mention the Samsung debacle and a quality issue in the same sentence.

If it’s good enough for Samsung, the biggest display manufacturer in the world, then it’s good enough.

At 180 it’s sorely tempting to leverage to add to the position, but that is never ever wise for what in the long run will be marginal gains vs buying at the end of the month. Your theory is probably right NDN and most LTHs ‘went for it’ when Activ progression was announced, like myself.

I’m happy paying anything sub 200 and will gladly add at the end of the month should the price still remain in that range.

NDN- daft comment. A delay on yesterday’s RNS would not have been good for the SP. the market has certainty now. People will clamber on board as they decide if they are in or out. LTHs aren’t selling, liquidity will dry. It won’t happen right away but I’m expecting a steady climb. We are way below fair value, and selfishly hope it stays that way until payday! But the fundamentals are at odds with 185p IMO

Good point vorag. If we were a US firm on the Nasdaq we would be much higher right now.

The UK market is generally very cautious. The US are much more on board with ‘venture capital’ whereas here we tend to be more guarded.

As we tuck into our Christmas dinners this year, the one month chart will look like a beautiful Alpe d’Huez piste in profile. I had an inkling today wouldn’t be rip roaring, as I said this morning, but make no mistake this is only headed one way.

As investors start wondering what else they could be doing with their money in a 35 day window, and LTHs cling tightly to their golden tickets, the liquidity will slowly but surely dry up and the price will March steadily, relentlessly, northwards. What is true value right now? Who the hell knows, there are so many variables in play. But when the chance to make multiples on your investment, the later you are to this party, the higher the cost of the ticket. All of this, of course, discounts anything coming out of left field: a preorder, t/o offer, a new II or poly’s continuing hoovering of shares.

But all that is a sideshow to what has today been set into motion. In the history of this company there has never been a more exciting time. In what is really a few minutes in investment timelines, we will know once and for all what the destiny of this awesome little company will be, years of research and hard graft condensed into a single RNS that will either shut or fling open a door to billions upon billions in worldwide revenue. As an investor, it feels great to be part of something so blooming exciting and, to boot, something that will improve the world. I wouldn’t miss it for anything.

Sandiego, I don’t wish to engage in a tit for tat battle but you’re barking up the wrong tree.

The weight of evidence for interferons grows by the week. It’s clear that scientists are finding new ways and methods to make them efficacious, something SNG is right at the vanguard of. Activ 2 progression tells me everything I need to know about how good our treatment is. This isn’t ramping or cheerleading- it’s fact.

Looking at old data or studies is fine, if nothing else more recent is available. But that’s simply not true and you know it. It’s like trashing electric cars because engineers in 1970 could only extract 20% efficiency from a battery. The field has clearly progressed there as it has here.

I have no wish to engage further in this conversation so that’s my final point on it. Lord above.

Sandiego, someone coming on to the BB to trash interferons with a dusty anecdote from the 1970s and nothing further of any scientific or statistical significance, deserves to be called out.

By all means I will listen to alternative views, but to suggest we are all just blinkered cheerleaders because we can spot BS from a mile off is daft. There’s balance and there’s de ramping. I think I know which camp this nonsense falls into.

Interferon Alpha beta or gamma? What density/dosage of interferon was given and to tackle what viral illness exactly? What chemical was used to suspend the interferon and was the nebuliser propelling the solution into the lungs or simply required inhalation? You can see there are so many variables to make your observations junk.

Even if today doesn’t turn out to be rip roaring day for the SP, it’ll comfortably breach 200 and never go back in the coming weeks. Today, RM signalled the train is leaving the station. Next stop, results.

Lovely news to wake up to this morning!

I’ve bought here with a 15% spread before. Usually a wide spread is a bull flag as MMS are capitalising on buying appetite. When I last bought with such a wide spread Nano was at 15p and quickly sailed up to 25p.

I take your point and I agree there could be volatility, but a retrace is not a given here. Massive preorders have been par for the course off the back of trial readouts, as we’ve very recently seen.

I’m not saying a SP whack down won’t happen, but it doesn’t seem likely to me.

Andy, the scenario you paint is highly improbable. Polygon would have to time the sell to perfection, bank on no preorders arriving and then buy back just in time for FDA approval. Should a miracle occur and they time the buy to perfection, they would swiftly then be descended on for insider trading.

Poly are here for the long haul, not to fart about with buying in and selling out like a two bit trader IMO.

I do agree Skeletor but I guess 55p does represent significant growth from here to 2024, well above the market average, so when you take that view I suppose it seems fair enough.

They got the headline all wrong. It should have been Polygon and Tetragon showdown is SHAPING UP to be a classic.

MMs have made a pretty penny today on those 2.5m shares. It’s been between 3-5% all day. Clearly strong buying appetite at all prices today.
