Spot on. This looks like an attempt for a smash and grab to relieve small PI's of their Sareum shares tomorrow. It's not going to happen with me! I'm holding my Sareum shares until a mega buyout. I've done my due diligence over the years and I know we are sitting on a gold mine with SDC1801/1802 and SRA737. The data readouts are all that I am interested in and they have always been first class.

Fearg and Sadoldgit I have to agree with you. When you are a shareholder in a plc that has revealed data confirming that SDC-1801 is superior to Dexamethasone in a Govt funded trial & that SRA 737 works in combo with Merck’s Keytruda, Eli Lilly's Gemcitabine and Astra Zeneca's WEE1 and that your investment has its worldwide patent ducks in a row you really do know that you are a shareholder in something very special. As we have said many times over the years a takeover of Sareum looks the most obvious. Who of the major global pharmas isn't going to want SDC1801, SDC1802 or SRA737 as part of their portfolio? I'm holding for a takeover or blockbuster licencing deal. It has always been about the science and not the sentiment for me. Having said that, I could have sold for twice our current price last year. I didn't as I believe this is a long term hold. I have built up my holding in Sareum over a ten year+ period, like many others here. I have done my research over the last decade, some of it inspired on the back of excellent posts on this very board. Ironically, Sar have then had to acknowledge the accuracy of the posts on here a day or so later with an RNS! I'm still therefore not at all convinced that we are going to be blitzed with RNS after RNS until mid 2023. This has always been the modus operandi of Sareum, rightly or wrongly. Here's to our multi billion valuation being achieved over the next couple of years, although I have a feeling 2023 is going to be a good one for us all here.

So, Stephen Parker and Tim Mitchell and the rest of the BOD have you delivered on the rationale for the consolidation or not? i.e. from the circular and I quote: "The Board believes that this will increase the trading price of the shares and make the Company and its shares more attractive to a broader range of investors". Hmmm. Since 29th October (nearly 11 months since the PH appointment) and then the 16th December (Consolidation confirmation) I've been waiting for new major investors via TR1's. The result is zero. I've been waiting for the trading price of the shares to increase. Hmmmm the result is again Zero. I've held all my Sareum shares for over 10+ years but 2022 is fast becoming a very disheartening year. SDC1801/1802 and SRA737 are potentially worth a fortune if managed correctly. Come on Stephen, Tim and John lets see you deliver on your promises.....

SRA 737 being in the hands of GSK is much more preferable for investors I would suggest. Astra Zeneca, Merck and Eli Lilly have all seen how effective SRA 737 is, which is why GSK will also be interested. Do you not think that they would have created a bidding war with AZ, Merck and Lilly if they had stated on the record that they were interested in SRA 737 when they announced the Sierra deal? I do. It is much better for GSK to get the deal over the line and then inform the market of its plans for "GSK737". I am also enthused that SAR has its global patent ducks in a row and last year produced data showing that SDC-1801 is superior to Dexamethasone. That was also a WOW moment for me. With all this data I know I am sitting on a gold mine and just have to wait it out. A takeover of Sareum looks very conceivable I would have thought? SDC1801, SDC1802 and SRA737 are valuable assets. I'm biding my time for a takeover or blockbuster licencing deal. It has always been about the science for me.

Today another early stage phase 1 pharma has been snapped up, this time by AstraZeneca. They have signed an agreement to buy TeneoTwo and its Phase I clinical-stage T-cell engager TNB-486. This could be Sareum soon. There is so much M&A activity these days with phase 1 candidates. AZ is paying up to $1.265 billion for TeneoTwo, comprising of $100m cash up front on the deal closing plus R&D-related milestone payments of up to $805m and additional contingent commercial-related milestone payments of up to $360m.

The Affinvax takeover by GSK today for over 2 Billion with a further 1 Billion in potential milestone payments really does go to show the Intrinsic value of SRA737, SDC-1801 and SDC-1802. It is clear to see that Sareum shareholders really are sitting on a goldmine.

That's my view too, Leggster, regarding Peel Hunt. Their appointment, I believe, was to manage a future M&A transaction. I've been invested in Sareum for over 10 years and I'm here for the global licencing and eventual takeover deals. That's all that interests me. I've not sold a single share in Sareum in all those years and I will hold until the takeover happens. The Sierra Oncology GSK announcement reassured me that as Thoth, RMM, Potnak, PhilBoro, Wip, AndyMcdon, Brighty, Luton, Sadoldgit, Elcap, GlenF, Maid, Mafuta and co have all pointed out over the years Sareum will be worth many billions.

Well Thoth, Brighty, Rmm, Working in Pharma, Potnak etc have all been drumming on about it and they have all been right re the billion dollar takeovers that DO happen in the pharmaceutical industry. Small companies really do get acquired by big players for billions as the Sierra takeover announced today demonstrates. £20 a share for Sareum would do nicely Brighty! An exciting next chapter for Sareum looks to be finally unfolding. Phew.

Our consolidation was supposed to be about reducing the volatility of the share price as this was “negatively affecting investors’ perception of the Company” etc. So what do you call 129p at the open today to 96p by 11am or 160p on 1st March to 96p nine days later? I would say that is “negatively affecting investors’ perception of the Company”……

I hold 128,000 shares (6.4million pre the ridiculous tinkering) and was up nearly x 25 on Sareum last August. I’m now up at just over x 5. In theory you could say this is still a good return but 10p down to 1.9p (96p) is a complete and utter joke when we should have been on our way to at least 20p+ a share following our big UKRI RNS of July 1st. This was the moment to ramp up the comms. There should have been a raft of stories in the investor, business and medical trade press about how SDC-1801, developed by a UK company, demonstrated a profile superior to dexamethasone in the fight against Covid and autoimmune diseases in general. Instead all we have had is silence as usual. I’m literally kicking myself for believing in Tim and Stephen about how good the consolidation was going to be for shareholders. For new shareholdes maybe? X25 in August 2021 to x6 in March 2022 is my position. Disgraceful. There will no doubt be a raise next which will take us way below 100p. I’ve been invested for over a decade as I believe in the science but I’ve lost faith in the management.

I totally agree with you Aberystwyth. Our share price could and should have been opening at 500p+ tomorrow. They will no doubt be happy with £1.65. I'm not. When we accomplished 9-10p last August this LTH of 6 million+ shares really did not envisage a share price at 3.35p several months later. We were well on our way to 20p+ if the news flow had been managed better. Our BOD has literally stopped our share price momentum in its tracks. I hope the consolidation sideshow will be worth it. My message to our BOD is this: "Now that the consolidation has been voted through please please please just get on with the science. The presentation today was very uninspiring and to woo II's you are going to have to up your game dramatically".

I'm holding for a takeover or blockbuster licencing deal but my timescales have changed from imminent to long term. It has always been about the science and not the sentiment for me. Having said that, I could have sold for twice our current price last year. I didn't as I believe this is a long term hold. I have just over 6.5million shares in Sareum built up over a ten year period. I have done my research over the last decade, some of it inspired on the back of excellent posts on this very board. I'm therefore not at all convinced that we are going to be blitzed with RNS after RNS pre or post consolidation. It is more than likely as night follows day that all we are going to get is yet more radio silence during 2022. This has always been the modus operandi of Sar. The only thing I can see is Sar raising a big chunk of money soon after the consolidation and then more silence for the bulk of 2022.

I fear you are probably correct. The share price is just being allowed to drop lower and lower without any comms intervention at all. It looks as though it is almost a deliberate strategy to remain passive at the moment. Sareum appears to be relying on just an RNS every few months to communicate the bear minimum. The current strategy is clearly not having the desired impact for shareholders who have seen the share price tank from over 9p to around 3p in just a few months. A %age of the HNWI investment last year should have been spent on hiring a new PR company. Infrequent RNS' are purely regulatory news which should not be confused with PR comms, which is the general day to day raising of the Sareum profile. This is where they are failing. PR stories and comment in the trade and national media would do wonders for Sareum from an investor and licencing perspective. This would filter through to the share price in a positive way and would reassure investors. PR is the effective messaging of your business. Most successful plc’s are good at general PR which then creates the interest which in turn leads to deals and then an RNS.

Sareum shoud have been shouting from the roof tops about its discovery to create further investor appetite. Our fantastic share price momentum has been lost over the past few months. This is most frustrating.

The downside as I see it moving forward is that Sareum have form when it comes to poor comms. If we don’t get an up tick in newsflow post consolidation the share price will drift to the equivalent of sub 1p wiping out a significant portion of many long term holders paper gains.

The failure to bring institutions in over the years has left the voting power entirely with us. The danger for the bod has always been the rump of long term holders that cumulatively hold the lion share of the shares. If the company was to continue as it has been managed over the past 10 years an EGM would have eventually arisen and we would have probably seen TM and SP removed, with TM staying on in a purely scientific remit and a new CEO appointed. A consolidation to reduce our collective voting influence is underway. This is a dilemma for me and probably many others as we hold hundreds of millions of shares built up over many years. Do we back this move in the hope that good news is on the horizon? I would be much more comfortable about the consolidation if the bod communicated its rationale. Currently the only thing I can see is that we are handing over our voting power.

I'm unhappy about the maladroit way the consolidation matter has been handled. It should have been kept under wraps until they were ready to confirm the exact details. This is verging on very naive and amateurish behavior which has played right in to the hands of those that want a cheaper entry price. What are you playing at Stephen Parker and Tim Mitchell? If we consolidate with a x 10 and are at 60p, for example, we could still be on for a x10 or more multibag to 600p+ with positive news updates on 737, 1801, 1802 during 2022. Brighty1 and others have previously highlighted over the last 18 months how NCYT and SNG for example have gone from approx 20p to 1,000p (Ncyt) and approx 10p to 220p (sng). I am not a huge fan of consolidations as they normally are for struggling aim listed plcs. We are not in that category. Quite the opposite. Our trajectory is on the ascendancy so a major multi bag post the consolidation is my view on what will be unfolding here next year. Happy Christmas.
