The share price going to 138p and then to 190p etc will be great and provide super gains for many and that is likely to happen quite soon on the back of SRA737 news. However, it is also worth pointing out the possibility of a billion pound+ takeover at a premium of over x 20 where we are today. I would check out the posts from Ahfam3 and Brighty1 earlier about AstraZeneca announcing today that it is to pay $1.3 billion for CinCor, a clinical stage company. The price was over twenty times our current share price. There are numerous billion pound+ deals in our sector for similar small companies such as Sareum.

Wow. If AstraZeneca is prepared to pay 1.3 billion for CinCor (which is over twenty times our current share price) then, as I said the other day about Kymab and these kind of billion pound deals, what value does one put on the Sareum pipeline of SDC1801, SDC1802 and SRA737? A 1.2 billion deal appears to be pretty standard for clinical stage companies in the pharma sector. The JP Morgan Healthcare Conference taking place over the next 3 days in San Francisco looks to have come at just the right time.

Ahfam3, you and I (along with many others on here) have been invested in Sareum for many years and the research your provide on deals in our sector is always most helpful and appreciated. Keep the facts coming on the transactions achieved in the pharma space as it helps focus the mind on the end game for us all. There is no reason why Sareum cannot be valued as a £1billion company in due course or even as Potnak has stated a £2billion company. Many on here have pointed out that we operate in a billion takeover industry and that's what I'm expecting in due course for Sareum with SDC1801, SDC1802 and SRA 737.

The SAR Mcap is currently approx £60 Million. If Sanoffi was prepared to pay 1.45 billion for Kymab (which is over twenty times our current share price) then what value do you put on the Sareum pipeline of SDC1801, SDC1802 and SRA737? A £1.2 billion deal is pretty standard in the pharma sector afterall. i.e. a share price of over X 20 of where we are today. Let that sink in for a moment.

Another piece of the jigsaw and a reminder of what we are sitting on here for newbies is the fact that the Merck data for SRA 737 was compelling: "100% regression of tumors after 21 days". You can't beat 100%.

Top post Citizen and a brilliant reminder of the massive potential for Sareum shareholders. What is also indisputable are the facts that:
Sareum in combination with Dexamethasone works.
Sareum in combination with AstraZeneca's WEE1 works.
Sareum in combination with Merck’s Keytruda works.
Sareum in combination with Eli Lilly's Gemcitabine works. i.e. we are not going un-noticed by big pharmas which in our sector equates to serious money for a licencing deal or takeover.

The JP Morgan Healthcare Conference is happening at a very opportune moment in the history of Sareum and is a wonderful opportunity for Stephen Parker to showcase our company. There is so much M&A activity these days in our segment with phase 1 candidates. For example, AZ in the last year agreed to pay up to $1.265 billion for TeneoTwo and GSK, as we know, paid billions to acquire Sierra Oncology and Affinvax in 2022. The latter for over 2 Billion with a further 1 Billion in potential milestone payments.

The Gemcitabine posts on here over the Christmas and new year break were interesting. For clarity and for the newbies that are not aware SRA737 has not only been a success with Eli Lilly's Gemcitabine. SRA737 has in fact also had amazing results in combo with Astra Zeneca's WEE1 and Merck’s Keytruda. i.e. AZ, Merck and Lilly could be knocking on Sareum’s door by the end of January for a licencing deal for SRA737. They all know how effective and ground breaking it is.

That was certainly the best AGM performance by the BOD in a longtime - thank goodness and just when we needed it. It just goes to show that if our BOD would just communicate better and more frequently it will (and does) benefit our share price. Happy Christmas and here's to 2023.

The consolidation has been an unmitigated disaster. We have a share price of 55p today. The circular stated "The Board believes that this will increase the trading price of the shares and make the Company and its shares more attractive to a broader range of investors". Hmmm. Since 29th October 2021 (since the PH appointment) and then the 16th December 2021 (Consolidation confirmation) I've been waiting for new major investors via TR1's. The result is zero. I've been waiting for the trading price of the shares to increase. Quite the opposite. 55p today from over 455p. I've held all my Sareum shares for over 10+ years but 2022 is fast becoming a very disheartening year. SDC1801/1802 and SRA737 are potentially worth a fortune if managed correctly. Come on Stephen, Tim and John lets see you deliver or move sideways and appoint a CEO and Chair that can.

Aberystwyth, you and I (and a few other LTHs) have been saying this repeatedly, despite the brickbats, having watched our share price go from 455p (9.1p) to 68p (1.3pish) today. When we accomplished 455p+ (9-10p) last August we could have raised millions when the momentum was with us after our July 1st RNS. The subsequent consolidation was the opportune moment to raise £10million+ at 250p-300p, which would have still been a big discount to the then current price, which was significantly over 300p at the time. We would have been in a really strong financial position to take SDC1801/1802 forward. What are all these experts doing? We, along with many others here, said at the time that we hoped the consolidation sideshow will be worth it. It has not been a success and Tim needs to be moved sideways to focus solely on the science and Stephen needs to resign.

Jules, a 10 year investment in SAR that once was up for me by x25 is now up about x 2 ish. Incredible. I was fully expecting a fund raise of circa £10million at 250p a share to progress SDC1801/1802 following the consolidation, which back then would have still been a huge discount to then then share price but would have been the moment to tap investors on the back of our amazing UKFI news. Instead our BOD and advisors have squandered a superb opportunity to raise considerable funds when momentum was with us when the SAR share price was around 250p-300p. Stephen Parker needs to go. Peel hunt need to go. Consilium need to go. Tim Mitchell needs to be moved to a purely scientific role. We need a CEO who can communicate the terrific science we have. The self inflicted share price destruction over the last 12 months from 345p to 70p is shameful and needs to be halted and confidence restored.

I'm in total agreement with you about "let the science do the talking" but commercially Sareum now needs a rapid step change. Our share price is down from 345p to 81p. This is a self inflicted wound when there should have been a proactive comms strategy put in place targeting the investor, business, pharma and medical trade press at the time of our fantastic UKRI RNS of July 1st 2021. We should have been shouting from the rooftops that SDC-1801, developed by a UK company, demonstrated a profile superior to dexamethasone in the fight against Covid and other autoimmune diseases. Instead all we have had is radio silence. This is not how to communicate with investors and potential investors. When you are a shareholder in a plc that has revealed data confirming that SDC-1801 is superior to Dexamethasone in a Govt funded trial & that SRA 737 works in combo with Merck’s Keytruda, Eli Lilly's Gemcitabine and Astra Zeneca's WEE1 and that your investment has its worldwide patent ducks in a row you really do expect a more savvy approach to investor comms. It is time for a change of approach at Sareum.

Our BOD will be well aware that there are more than enough PI's to vote for the resignation of Stephen Parker and to vote for a sideways move for Tim Mitchell from CEO to an advisory role if that's what we believe will reinvigorate confidence in the business and our share price. There have been no major II's buying in and we as PI's still hold all the cards here. The last 12 months have been most frustrating and opportunities have been missed to the detriment of shareholders. A train strike is unlikely to stop the tsunami of investors calling for an EGM if the destruction of our share price continues and if the AGM proves inconclusive and no news has been forthcoming.

If you feel the BOD have not delivered, for example, on the rationale for consolidation or on promised timescales then make use of your vote.

All I am really calling for from the BOD is a more savvy approach to investor comms. We’ve seen on numerous occasions informed comment appearing on this chat that subsequently gets confirmed by RNS and on other occasions radio silence when the company should be shouting from the rooftops. That’s my main beef. I’ve not sold any shares in SAR since investing over 10 years ago as I firmly believe that SDC1801/1802 and SRA737 have huge potential. What I would like to see is a more professional and savvy approach to how the company communicates.

I wholeheartedly concur with your point. Furthermore, last year SAR mentioned that they were thinking of a consolidation rather than just getting on with it creating a vacuum of uncertainty until they finally confirmed said consolidation. The stock market dislikes uncertainty and this poor approach to comms was also in evidence at 3.54pm on Friday 8th January last year re FLT3 and then last week they RNS'd news which by all accounts was not even put to Sareum in writing. Surely they need to be more savvy with what to communicate and when to communicate it, whilst ofcourse sticking to stock market and Nomad regulations. Then there's the silence from Mr Silence Theraputics, Stephen Parker, on last weeks news. I was hoping along with many others on here that he would have stepped in and steadied the ship with a share purchase (as he has done before, smartly aligning himself with his shareholders) or at the very least issued one of his Tweets but his Twitter feed is very silent and there have been no share purchases from the BOD (there may be a good reason for this ofcourse). It would really help if the company would instil some investor relations expertise pdq as uncertainty creates a depressed share price as we have all witnessed.

Agreed. The entire BOD of SAR need to buy shares today to communicate confidence. I hold 128,000 shares (6.4million pre the ridiculous tinkering) and was up nearly x 25 on Sareum last August. Our big UKRI RNS of July 1st 2021 was the moment to ramp up the comms. There should have been a raft of stories in the investor, business, pharma and medical trade press about how SDC-1801, developed by a UK company, demonstrated a profile superior to dexamethasone in the fight against Covid and autoimmune diseases in general. Instead all we have had is silence as usual. I’m literally kicking myself for believing in Tim and Stephen about how good the consolidation was going to be for shareholders. For new shareholdes maybe? X25 in August 2021 to x3 in November 2022 is my position. Disgraceful.

Hang in there everyone. We are sitting on some amazing IP / great data/ research that a major pharma at some stage will want to acquire. That will be the time to sell, not today. The data readouts have always been first class for SDC1801/1802 and SRA737. I'm relaxed about the science. I'm less happy with the comms, as usual. The company has been poor at this for years.
