WIP, re your query about that very interesting email from Sareum Chairman Stephen Parker mentioning the takeover panel. it appeared on this BB on 16th July 2020 via a post by Elcap How very interesting things have turned out in the last few weeks! Something is going on behind the scenes. Which major global pharma isn't going to want SDC1801 or SRA737 as part of their portfolio? A takeover of Sareum looks very possible.

What is abundantly clear and brilliant news for Sareum investors is that the big pharmaceutical companies (AZ, GSK, Pfizer etc) are increasingly prepared to spend billions on in-licensing drug candidates. This is fantastic news for us.

The serious money in our sector for licencing and acquisitions is staggering. e.g. in the last couple of years at the top end Amgen buying Otezla for $13.4 billion in cash and at the lower end Kymab being sold to Sanoffi for $1.4 billion in cash.

The reality working in Sareum's favour - and why HNWI's are starting to buy in to Sareum - is that patent expiry is estimated to have cost big pharmas over £200billion in lost sales in the last couple of years alone. Approx 50% of pharma pipelines are being externally sourced. Investors are at last tuning in to this and have realised the true potential of what Sareum is all about.

In summary, it is a fact that pipelines at the major global pharmas are insufficient to replace products with expiring patents. This is brilliant news for Sareum shareholders.

WIP AND Boil B, it's also probable that the share price could / would be suspended if a Takeover deal was announced. This would lock out anyone not already invested in SAR. I've seen this happen a few times on AIM. i.e. those that are thinking of investing or topping up need to buy in before a t/o happens. Another point to make is that the HNWI buying £1million at 7p is probably looking to make 5 - 10 million profit minimum I would suggest, so they have a price perhaps of 40p - 70p in mind. They are not in it to make a quick 10%!

I wouldn't get too hung up over the intraday prices. It's the x 1 to 15p we are focusing on next and then the following x 1 to 30p etc. What we can all see for our own eyes is that significant buys from HNWI (s) and well heeled PI's are happening every day. There's bound to be a few sells along the way but the overall travel of the share price is clearly in one direction, upwards.

Quite right Bobbler and as you say once we are at 14p a further X 1 rise will see the share price at 28p. When that happens 55p to 60p will be just another X 1. We've seen it happen in our sector many times. The indisputable facts are that SDC-1801 is superior to Dexamethasone & also works in combo with Dexamethasone. Plus in combo with Astra Zeneca's WEE1, Merck’s Keytruda and Eli Lilly's Gemcitabine Sareum's science has proven to work. This = billions in the pharmaceutical sector. Big news and big deals are on the way. Sit back and let the science do the talking.

I would also add that Thoths previous prediction was 7.1p a couple of months ago and he totally and utterly nailed that. So, his 17p in the next couple of weeks is not beyond the realms of possibility. I'm with him all the way to £1 and beyond.

17p by the end of July was Thoth’s prediction. That’s little more than a x1 from here between now and the end of the month.

Thanks Jiffy for providing that piece of research and welcome to the SAR board. This is a sector that deals in the billions as Thoth, Brighty, Wip, RMM & others here keep reminding us.

For those that haven’t clicked on your excellent link it confirms the BILLIONS being paid for licencing each year. Ie. the 15 largest licensing deals in 2019 equate to a total of $41.1 billion. More than $8.5 billion of that was paid upfront.

The Top 15 licencing deals in 2020 was over $40billion (cancer assets the most commonly sought after and the most valuable for a second year running). Interestingly for SAR investors, the value of upfront payments rose in 2020 to $10.2 billion from around $8.5 billion in 2019. i.e. licensees are having to pay more. That has to be good news for Sareum, Friday FOMO might just kick in this PM.

I am also watching out for an intra-day RNS relating to SRA737 very soon. AZ, Merck and Lilly have all been in trials with SRA737. News could come at any moment.

Phenomenal posts here over the last 24 hrs. The fact that Amgen acquired Otezla for $13.4 billion in cash a couple of years ago articulates best why we are all invested in Sareum.

A partnership, licencing or takeover deal must be on the cards soon, I agree, on the back of the superb SDC1801 Covid data announced on 1.7.21. As you say there won’t be many pharma R&D bosses and CEO’s that won’t want to get their hands on something that has been ascertained to be superior to Dexamethasone. Let’s not beat around the bush on this either. Dexamethasone is what has saved over 1 million lives during Covid according to health experts.

Whilst, we are quite rightly getting tremendously excited about SDC1801 it is also worth noting that SRA737 is regarded as one of the most successful new candidates in the sector. It’s had fantastic success in combo with AstraZeneca's WEE1 Adavosertib, Merck’s Keytruda and Eli Lilly’s Gemcitabine. This is BIG news. A licencing update RNS’ for SRA737 could come at any moment confirming its progression and therefore the commencement of the agreed milestone payments which will see the SAR share price rocket. Don’t be surprised if an SRA737 RNS happens first.

Everyone's a winner: SAR has £180,000 more in the bank and the HNWI has more shares.

A licencing or a take over deal shouldn't be that far away. I doubt it will be in your time frame of the next 2 weeks. More like the next 3-6 months. I would imagine though that behind the scenes talks are going on right now ranging from AGILE, SRA737, SDC1801/1802, COVID-19 Antivirals Taskforce, new HNW investors etc. News could drop imminently on some of these which could certainly see the share price soar but for a big takeover or licencing deal taking us over £1 I think we are looking at months not weeks.

Stunning numbers in Thoth's link featuring the "50 Best Pharma Sellers". It is well worth a read i.e. $220 billion in worldwide sales per year This certainly highlights what was being posted here last week about the billions that could be on the table for a takeover or licencing deal. Now that Sareum has demonstrated that SDC1801 has a profile that is superior to Dexamethasone and similar to Baricitinib I agree with Thoth that the SAR share price is going to increase substantially. A licencing or takeover RNS is getting closer and closer and could come sooner than most people realise.

Stellar posts from Thoth and Brighty today. They quite rightly point out that what we are invested in is potentially worth billions. It's encouraging that Thoth sees SAR moving from 7p to 17p soon. From there it is just x1 to 34p.

Yes, one minute the share price will be its current 7p and the next moment it is likely to be 14p. i.e. the SAR share price will probably double in a day when we get news on licencing or Agile, both of which are potentially immense for Sareum. All we need to focus on is that once we are 14p a further X 1 rise will see the share price at 28p. When that happens 55p to 60p will be just another X 1. We've seen it happen in our sector many times.

On a quiet day such as today it is worth reminding everyone of the indisputable facts that:
Sareum’s SDC-1801 is superior to dexamethasone.
Sareum in combo with Dexamethasone works.
Sareum in combo with AstraZeneca's WEE1 works.
Sareum in combo with Merck’s Keytruda works.
Sareum in combo with Eli Lilly's Gemcitabine works.

In a nutshell, we know that the Sareum science works, as above, which will equate to a substantial licencing deal very soon. No big pharma boss will have missed the data last week that "SDC 1801 is superior to dexamethasone". Afterall, the NHS is on record as saying back in March that 22,000 Covid patients had been saved in the UK and over 1 million worldwide thanks to dexamethasone. What price do you put on a drug that is better than the current life saver? Sareum is now in the shop window. Big news and big deals are on the way. Sit back and let the science do the talking.

Absolutely right. Any of those 1-10 points you have listed could see the SAR share price double in a day. The inbound RNS news is potentially immense here. It is therefore entirely feasible to achieve a X 1 rise in one day (or over a few days), which would see the SAR share price climb to 14p. It's happened with many aim listed companies. I expect it to happen here. Don't forget that once we are 14p a further X 1 rise will see the share price at 28p. When that happens 55p to 60p will be just another X 1. PYC went from 4p to over 30p in under 1 week. It can and does happen.
