That's not true either. I've held "Dart Group" stock in the early 90's before they became Jet2. Sold way to early in order to buy into the dot com bubble (big mistake). Then I owned British Airways shares before they became IAG. Bought after 9/11 but sold again, much to quickly.

It simply isn't true what you're saying. A lot of people have made a lot of money out of IAG, Ryanair and, in the past Easyjet and Wizz Air.

If I'd have just bought a little Jet2 stock every year since I worked for them in the late 80's and early 90's, I would be flying my own private jet around now, rather than a bunch of punters.

As for Warren Buffet, he's quite right, never touch American Airline stocks. It's a totally different business from European Airlines and particularly European low cost carriers.

You've been watching European Airline stocks for 15 years. I've been watching them for 36 years.

Well if the shorters have already received their copy of the January 29th earnings report. I want my copy.

I also think that the investment banks will buy in the next 10 days or so even if it's just to rebalance Airline portfolios. Take profits from Ryanair and IAG and add to Wizz and Easyjet.

For me it means that £19 is a certainty at sometime in the near future.

Yes. If I remember rightly, I think that the target rice for Barclays went from £11 to £15 then back to £14, now presumably it's £15 again.

In the 3 to 4 years that I've been watching the Analyst coverage of Wizz, Lobbenberg from Barclays has been the only person who has hit the mark well. I think that as a European Airline Analyst, he is the best person to follow.

I like the fact that he says that we'll be as efficient as any other Airline in 2.5 years and that we'll carry 100m passengers.

Working from the €10 net profit per passenger MOL profitability guide, Wizz should be making €1B per year in the near future. MOL also said that that €10 per passenger will go up to €14 as the shortage of Aircraft in Europe really kicks in.

Johnbri. You know the industry nearly as well as I do, you can only look long term. If you order an Aircraft today, when is it going to be delivered? Mid 2030's?

If shorts are betting on a poor Q3 report, why is the share price grinding higher?

I would suggest that it's because of the yields on the already mature routes.

I believe that the RASK for Q3 will be better than anticipated and will push year over year revenue in to growth. I think that we had an excellent Christmas. My Aircraft were all full with high paying pax. I travelled within Europe over New Year at my own expense and for 2 hour flights, I couldn't get tickets (including ancillaries) for less than €350. Thats a lot higher than last Christmas when I was paying around €200 for similar flights.

You maybe right but I'm expecting the Q3 results to show continued year over year revenue growth. As things currently stand, this would be a surprise to the upside.

I also think that Wizz will make a net profit of €300m this year which would be another surprise to the upside.
