I would say the 2 1.25m trades were a matched buy and sell so remove 1.25m shares from buys and add to sells.
Still interesting what might be going on here in the background, accumulation or selling wise. It sounds like the impeachement isn't going to get enough votes but if it were to surely that would be good for HOC

Not so, that ' someone ' is more likely a market maker (s) who could be stuck with some of those shares, there does not need to be a match. There clearly was not the demand ( rather un surprisingly on a risk off Friday afternoon ) or the price would not have dropped from a steady 140p to 121p Its quite simple.
Don't get me wrong I am not seeing 50p but todays close was weak, no need to sugar coat it.

Lots of wierd AT trades today 30s and 40s share trades some 8 share some 88 share auto trades.
Seems to be an algo working hard today I would guess ( hope ) for accumulation purposes.
Not sure if you saw that head of commodities for one of the banks on Bloomberg recently, he said the Oil and Gold pullback was just a result of some extreme bullish positioning coming off, which can now be reset at lower risk.

I feel the only thing holding us back is futures prices, although they are rising. Brent is priced in the high $80s for most of 2023 for example 2025 is mostly high $70s

Will there not be a further non-cash write down when Sealion is off their balance sheet ?
If not it looks like they have written down the value of Sealion with some creative accounting so as not to damage their own share price with another costly write down.

HBR are also going to have to write down Zama and Sealion at some stage. I noticed the profit after tax was only $101m, with all that gas they sell !
