They way this would typically work, as per tried and tested AIM strategy is... ISCID decision is announced ( a RKH win ) Rockhopper expect the award to be well inexcess of 150 million Euros...the shareprice jumps up into the 20s.. a placing is worked at say 9p per share and placing shares are flipped for some weeks onto the market by those in the know... placeing is announced share price no doubt settles somewhere around 12p.

Financial commentary today is saying Hawkish Fed, a slew of bad data, last week it was the China lockdown.
In an example of the madness of markets I notice POG is up today 4.7% and Polymetal is up 5.9%

Shorters using weakness today to supress price, waiting the outcome of the French election and more sanctions on Russian oil.
The Dollar is up quite a bit so might see some bargain hunters from across the pond this afternoon.

Seems rather stranger to announce the need for a fund raising before it has happened. I wonder if Navitas or other interested parties want to take part at a knock down price ?

I think short tracker is more relevant right now as it looks like the shorters there are closing out, possibly at a loss, unless they used TLW as a hedge for their Oil longs

You are right they have as you say 'performed terrible' as did Premier Oil.
I wonder why you might want all of us positive people on this board to become dissenters.
Surely with a large holding here you would want to keep your negative views to yourself so you can sell out ?

Agree, but I think it is more about next years futures price which has been rising, so we potentially don't need over $100 spot.

I think this tells a story, this market is false and most participants are watching and waiting.

Its got to be more likely a deal will be signed now than at any point in Rockhoppers past.
As in life there is of course no certainty obviously.
